Mike is a great professional. As expats who sold the house, I felt that Mike went to the utmost lengths to help us throughout the entire process. He was always present when needed and very attentive to details. We quickly decided what the specific sales proposals for our house were and he represented us very well with potential buyers. He was always available when needed, very transparent in all communication which made the process as stress-free as possible.

I bought a house in Almere centrum through Mike. Initially, I hadn't met Mike personally; my friend had the contact with him. Based on the trust that Mike was a good real estate agent, I agreed to the purchase. Still, you always want to see a house yourself before actually signing, but Mike didn't seem to think that was a good idea. He indicated that there was a chance I wouldn’t want the house then, which I understand, but it is precisely that viewing that gives buyers the time and space to make an informed decision. Ultimately, I only got the chance to view the house after some pressure and, after the deadline for withdrawing from the house. During the appointment, Mike was 10 minutes late and left 10 minutes earlier, while our appointment was only 30 minutes long. In addition, he thought it strange that the toilet in the house I had just bought was used, which I found very inappropriate. But the biggest problem were the hidden defects in the house. Mike did not inform us about important matters that later caused a lot of extra costs. It felt as if we were being misled, which was a considerable disappointment for us. I am enormously disappointed in Mike and his way of working. He behaved like an amateur, and I advise everyone to look further for a professional real estate agent.

The rental agreement will be full of errors, the rent was sent to an incorrect account number, photos of the house were supposed to be sent but never received, but the most important thing was the temporary termination of the agreement. That also went wrong despite us having agreed on it beforehand. I really do not recommend this real estate agent to anyone.

24-02 called to make an appointment. Was told I would have a viewing on 25-02. Confirmation would come via phone or mail on the respective day. On 25-02 received a call that some things needed to be arranged with the current tenant. I would be called for an appointment once this was settled. After not receiving any response for a long time after 06-03, I decided to call myself. Then I was told that viewings had already taken place and the respective property had already been rented out. I find this very sloppy and unprofessional. Also, no consideration was given to possible help or advice for an alternative.
