I rented an apartment from Sonar for 5 years. The lease agreement included the costs for water, gas and TV. Multiple times they tried to find out information about my electricity consumption in order to adjust the usage. The clearest answer I received was that I had stayed within my limit of €150 that month, the amount assigned in my contract to gas, TV, etc. Shortly after I received a bill of €2000 that had to be paid within 14 days, otherwise... With an 'extra service costs' of €350 from Sonar you would even expect a greater effort or at least better communication to be able to determine more accurately how the electricity consumption could be adjusted. Upon moving out, the full deposit was withheld again, this time for electricity costs (and cleaning). No official invoice (i.e. no invoice number or letterhead from the energy supplier, etc.), only a typed letter from Sonar stating that the deposit was withheld and the additional amount I had to pay. Regarding cleaning, I had even insisted that one of the staff members would come by for an inspection to see what normal wear and tear was and what I could still do at the last minute to save on cleaning costs. This happened after some resistance had arisen via emails about carrying out the inspection together with me. Key points from my experience: - Fast and easy rental agreement. - The (then) €350 in extra service costs are not worth the money. - Although short-term renters may have more positive experiences, long-term renters should be cautious. - Although customer service is somewhat close to what is legally required, it seems like a rarity.

Always pleasant people to work with. I moved to the Netherlands during the pandemic and initially rented a studio from Sonar. Eventually, I was upgraded to a one-room apartment and now own a home with them. Throughout my stay in all the homes, the people of Sonar have helped me enormously. I am happy that I met Aida and Arjan, who are always available by phone and ready to help. If something was wrong with the property, they immediately investigated it.

As various others also write: do not do business with Sonar Apartments. They don't resolve issues in the property (I barely had warm water for 2 years in a completely renovated home), they act as if they are unaware of existing problems, they come with appointments that weren't made with each other, and they don't adhere to the deposit payment term. When you address them about it here, they come up with arguments about what they would have done. For example, that they looked for a new parking space (x streets away), while I was supposed to rent including the parking area and had to point this out to them afterwards because I heard from neighbors that the parking place wasn't included. Also, their handyman just entered the property, while I had agreed that I would not approve this without an appointment. I could go on for a while, but hope that this is enough reason for others not to enter into contractual agreements with Sonar. If you have also experienced this, please write it in a Google review as well.

Very beautiful location and tasty food and what a view

Ik raad dit bureau niet aan als je voor langere tijd wilt verblijven. Ik heb bijna 4 jaar in een 2-kamerappartement gewoond. In hun advertentie stond niets over het energielabel van de woning en over de ramen, die enkel glas hadden. Hierdoor heb ik veel te hoge energiekosten betaald en uiteindelijk hebben ze mijn volledige borg ingehouden onder het mom van extra energiekosten en schoonmaakkosten. Bovendien wil Sonar na 4 jaar het appartement terug in de staat waarin het zich 4 jaar geleden bevond. We hebben het appartement zelf schoongemaakt, maar er was toch nog wat vuil omdat we niet onder de bank konden schoonmaken, die te zwaar was om te verplaatsen. Daarom willen ze de helft van mijn borg inhouden en de rest voor schoonmaak. Ik ben zeer ontevreden over hoe ze dit hebben aangepakt.

Be very careful of this agency, if you deal with Sonar as an apartment owner. I had major damages to my apartment from one of their clients, and after we confronted Sonar they were very aggressive and just didn't care. They don't care about other people's properties and they believe their own lies. Stay clear from Sonar!! Be careful of this agency if you are an owner and want to rent out your house via Sonar. We had incredible damage from a tenant we obtained through Sonar. These 'people' have no respect for other people's belongings or home. Very aggressive in dealing with them, and PLEASE think twice before entering into a contract with them!! We suffered a lot of damage here that was never reimbursed! ;

Peter van Duijne van de Makelaars Associatie geeft altijd een eerlijk en deskundig advies. Hij gaf 20 jaar geleden goed advies bij de aankoop van het huis. nu bij de verhuur ervan. Hij kent het huis, hij denkt goed met je mee, geeft tips en is altijd bereikbaar. Al jarenlang een fijne en vertrouwde partner!

Renting out moldy homes! Have known for years that the homes are moldy but have done nothing about it until now!

What a worthless company this is. I rented a house in Rotterdam for two years with two friends. During these two years, we had endless complaints about leaks that were finally addressed after two years. Upon termination of the rental agreement, they are still trying to withhold the deposit in various ways through ridiculously high cleaning costs. After finally arranging the cleaning, you still don't get your deposit back due to creases in curtains… Honestly, the most terrible landlord ever. In the current market, you simply don’t really have the luxury of choosing your landlord, but if you have another option, I would advise you not to enter into a rental agreement with this company at all; you will be ripped off on all sides.

Very bad realtor who rents out moldy, leaky hovels for top dollar. Many leaks. Cracks in windows. Poorly insulated. Communication is barely possible. They don't respond to emails. Very rude people. (some)

Very bad experience with communication and reliability. I showed serious interest in a business unit at ROBSWAART Bedrijfshuisvesting B.V., but the communication was outright dramatic. Getting telephone contact was almost impossible: I was put on hold for a week and always got the same automated message with “Can I call you back?”, without ever being called back. Moreover, making appointments was particularly difficult. Despite the fact that I immediately indicated that I would like to rent the unit and I was clearly earlier than other interested parties, they subsequently had conversations with another party. As a result, I never got a fair chance, while I was clearly and seriously from day one. Very unprofessional and unreliable. Based on this experience, I can absolutely not recommend this company.

I am really very disappointed in the way this company treats customers. From the beginning, communication was unclear and unprofessional. Appointments were not kept, and I had to constantly follow up myself. Whatever you ask or need – you get no proper response. They don't seem interested at all in customer satisfaction, only in bringing money in. If this is supposed to represent “service,” then I don’t understand how they even have customers. I strongly advise everyone not to do business with RobSwart Bedrijfsvesting. There are plenty of other companies that are reliable and customer-focused.

Contact with Daphne was pleasant, clear and transparent. All agreements made were followed up on and her advice regarding the styling of the house and the selling price was followed. There were many offers on the house; Daphne checked whether bidders could actually meet their offer. This gave a lot of confidence and thus were able to make a good choice.

If I could give a rating lower than zero, I would absolutely do so. This office shows a complete lack of respect and professionalism – especially from the owner and the person who handles the tenant matters. Buyers might be treated differently, but as a (potential) renter you can only expect disrespect and dishonesty. If something in the apartment breaks, you have to wait days or even weeks before it is repaired. There is no communication and they clearly exploit tenants. More than one and a half months after my departure I still had not received my deposit back. When it finally arrived, only 50% was refunded, with unjustified deductions for 'professional cleaning' and so-called 'repairs'. I had to hand in the keys without being present for the checkout inspection. Be careful if you are planning to rent through this office – you will probably encounter the same problems during your stay and at the end of your rental period.

Unfortunately, we encountered an absolute unwillingness to work and to perform their tasks. We had engaged their company for a housing search service in The Hague. On the phone, we immediately felt a strange attitude and disinterest. Real estate agent Daphne showed no willingness to help with finding a home, not even for a good compensation. She did not check or read the documents we sent and handled her tasks completely irresponsibly. We saw an absolute lack of effort regarding all search activities. It is impossible to reach them or get in touch with them. They respond very slowly to emails. Do not do business with this company if you don't want to become homeless.

3,5 jaar huurder van (eerst Staate) Devast geweest. Wisselende ervaringen gehad. Naar mijn idee probeerden ze er het beste van te maken, maar werkte de eigenaar van het huis gewoon niet mee en reageerde totaal niet. Devast reageerde redelijk vlot per mail, wel vervelend dat ze tot 12 uur telefonisch bereikbaar zijn. Over de borgsom terugkijken heb ik totaal geen problemen ervaren, alles was goed en het was zo geregeld.

Dit bedrijf is een doorstart van ' Staate Beheer', ' Duinzigt Wonen', zelfde eigenaar. Bekijk de reviews en kom zelf met de conclusies. Ooit zelf gedupeerde geweest van uitbuiting en intimidatie. Stop deze man!

Slecht bedrijf, weten ze zelf waarschijnlijk ook daarom hebben ze hun zoeknaam verandert naar M. Proberen elke cent van je los te plukken maar wanneer je een vraag hebt met een probleem komt het er (altijd) op neer: zoek het zelf maar uit maar dan netjes omschreven. Ze geven ook nooit antwoord op de vraag die je stelt maar draaien en omheen. Geen Dévast maar inderdaad Domvast.
