Very arrogant party. *NDA not signed My company was in silent sale where confidentiality is crucial. Yet, confidential information was openly discussed, something I found out about during a visit to the hairdresser. I see this as a violation of professionalism. The defense is that signing non-disclosure agreements was not documented in writing, but in the context of a SILENT sale, it should be expected that this would be handled carefully. This is also a violation of the NVM's code of conduct. Furthermore, VDW’s website states that this is self-evident. * Negligence in documenting the agreements with the buyer. After the negotiations were closed and price, date etc. had been agreed upon, the buyer withdrew some time later due to his divorce. Nothing was put on paper. LOI not prepared or signed. I was not yet aware that an email and an app in which the buyer makes his offer and I accept it with all discussed conditions is binding in the business market. Divorce is not a terminating condition. Whether I would have understood that doesn't matter. The fact is that my broker did not do his job properly. He did not discuss this with me. The person in question had also placed his current company with my broker. Which means there is a conflict of interest. Despite all the costs and preparations made, an end was put to the successful sale with a simple phone call. That is blameworthy. * Termination of sales assignment After withdrawing the assignment, I received an invoice. I did not agree with the amount. Given the mistakes and the work I had done in the preparation, I discussed this. That took some doing because admitting you are wrong is difficult for them. Ultimately, they agreed to avoid further problems and perhaps because they also know that they haven't treated me well. (For a brokerage fee of approximately 72000,- ex VAT you should expect more) * Unjustified list names regarding future brokerage claim. After termination, I received a simple Word document with only a listing of names. About 30 names including several broker offices. I didn't know about 80% of these people. During the negotiation for the assignment, I indicated that I wanted to know who was actually involved in substantive discussions. There were two of them, including the aforementioned buyer. I wanted to pay the brokerage fee to those people if it should be discussed later after termination of the assignment. But sending me a list of names without any supporting documentation / file will not work. This blocks the entire market for a new sales broker. Files were not sent, even at the request of my lawyer. That shows the arrogance. * Intimidation after posting this 1-star review by a lawyer. After posting an honest and factual review about my experience, I was put under pressure by their lawyer to remove it. I see this as an attempt at intimidation and further confirmation of unprofessional conduct. In the response below the message I previously posted, it states that I am making an incorrect representation of facts public. However, I am making a CORRECT representation of facts public because I want to protect people from making the wrong choice or draw their attention to the fact that they need to get everything in writing before entering into business with them. The lawyer’s email to silence me has led me to file a complaint with the NVM. They could have better spent their time talking to me properly. There will undoubtedly be another response stating that I am not telling the truth, but I see that only as confirmation of their unprofessional conduct.

I have a snack bar in Utrecht called De Baron. I'm having some problems with my partner’s people. They sold my business without my consent with the help of Vdweerd. I've often called Vdweerd, but they always give different answers. I email frequently, but receive no response from them. On their webpage, they are confused. Sometimes it says the snack bar has been sold, sometimes it doesn’t say it’s sold. They have totally inexperienced staff. Who don't even know how the system works. In the Netherlands. Even they don't want to worry about this with me. Totally money-grabbing greedy people.
