We took half a day off to view a house in Bloemendaal. We were called one day prior that the house had been sold and that we are no longer ‘allowed’ to come and view it. Bloemendaal arrogance. The house is still listed on Funda.

Very bad experience with having a property to be purchased appraised. DMC failed to keep the appointment twice to visit the location. Does not adhere to deadlines and does not communicate about what - when to deliver. Does not call back when that was the agreement. Do you want a reliable contractor? Then definitely look elsewhere. Only ‘okay’ point: the content of the report was fine.

We are house sharers in Haarlem and we'd been having problems for a while to find a rental property. After two weeks through Marja, we immediately found a home that meets all our requirements! The communication was very clear and pleasant throughout the processes and I can only recommend it! Looking back, I regret not starting the search earlier through the real estate agent because that would have saved me a lot of trouble.

I am an expat who, with my family, is moving from the United Kingdom to the Netherlands and had no idea where to start looking for a house. It is a very difficult housing market, but Marja helped us find the right price and location, and how we could best present ourselves to landlords. I advise against working with them. I rented an apartment through their agency and although everything went smoothly during the rental period, the experience at the end was disappointing. They refused to carry out an inspection and said that I should contact the landlord directly to hand over the keys. I also did not receive my full deposit back.
