I have never experienced a house search and placement with such friendliness, speed, and professionalism as Ruben. It was an extremely positive experience. The extra information and links that Ruben gave me were also very useful for me as an expat, allowing me to easily register for electricity, internet, etc. In short, I received excellent service from start to finish. Finding a home in the Netherlands can be a nightmare and it's usually because the rental agents don't care about you. You are just 'one of the desperate' and if they can't help you, they have thousands of others waiting. Due to this terrible and tragic behavior, I lost all my trust, but then I contacted Woonhuis Limburg and everything changed. Ramon and Ruben answer all your questions within 24 hours, they are happy to help you, they have empathy and are customer-oriented. They value your feelings and impressions and do their best to provide quick and efficient feedback. The entire process, from the beginning (initial contact, making an appointment) to the end (rental agreement, viewing, further questions), runs smoothly and clearly. 11 Nov 2021Very accessible people. Accepting and respectful towards transgender individuals. I felt welcome as a customer because they seemed eager to help me. They answered all my emails within 1-2 business days and answered all my questions as best as possible. They ensure that you can move into a new home, with everything included, or at least have a repair scheduled. Especially Ruben Rutten has a personality full of enthusiasm and zeal, which can come across positively to you as a customer. They even agreed to submit my unorthodox alternative proposal for the financial requirements to the landlord, ultimately resulting in a new home, which I am very happy with. I've never had such a positive feeling about a real estate agent.

If you want a good experience for renting an apartment, you must not go to this agency. For example, they charge you ridiculous price for whatever service, (see 500 euros for removing a mattress). Also, I didn’t leave the place dirty as they say. Btw Ruben Rutten, he is of course very 'polite and nice'.

It is a pity that you do not recognize your own responsibility as a tenant. You rented a furnished apartment through us in July 2018, which was in nearly perfect condition at the time. During the check-out with you, which took place at the end of January 2021, we concluded together with the landlord that the apartment was left very dirty, while you were clearly informed in advance that you as a tenant are of course responsible for keeping the apartment clean as well as for a proper and clean delivery of the apartment at the end of the rental period. The apartment was so dirty that a few things (toilet bowl, sink, hob) could not even be professionally cleaned anymore. Then it is of course not surprising that the landlord does not refund the deposit of 1 month's rent, in order to repair the damage and make the apartment rentable again. In fact, this amount is demonstrably not covering the costs at all, and yet you have not been charged any additional costs. Finally, we would like to add that we have always been available for you throughout the entire period and have remained correct and polite to you, so it seems you are reflecting your frustration on us by calling us unprofessional.

Almost hit the mark with the first house, but for the second, Tom had it arranged on the day of the viewing and also quite a bit below the asking price!! That's something we didn't expect in this market. Can’t do anything other than recommend him as a (purchase) broker. Thanks again, Tom, Silvain & Linda 👍👍 PS Think twice if you are referred to Andre Feijs for finances. Only had misery and problems here that I did not resolve thanks to them. Nice story but total amateurs.

26 Jun 2025We had asked Tom for an appraisal of our home. Tom gives open and honest advice with a personal approach. He has a good understanding of things and knows how to assess the property's value correctly. Tom comes across as enthusiastic and communicates pleasantly. A breath of fresh air compared to real estate agents from other (large) agencies we had. There you are customer number . They deliver no more than assembly line work with a universal view. They release a formula without looking at the surroundings, location, etc. Everything is focused on selling as quickly as possible and moving on to the next client. That is different with Tom. He takes all the time for his clients and does that extra bit that others leave behind. We can only wholeheartedly recommend Tom!!

He is open about the condition of a property, open about how things stand, and knows his figures and info without having to look in a brochure. Once my keys broke (yes, I have that kind of luck), and without hesitation Said took on the responsibility to personally resolve the issue, which saved me a lot of stress. No hassle, no eye-rolling – just pure landlord magic. There were also moments when he offered a helping hand when it wasn't necessary, which only proves that he is one of those rare finds in the rental world. And they also have that incredible ability to respect your privacy and at the same time be approachable. It’s as if they have an invisible tenant radar – always around when you need them, but never around. The property was always in good condition, communication flowed effortlessly, and the whole experience made renting a breeze. If I weren't moving, I would still happily stay there. Five stars aren't enough – can we give out landlord trophies?

Date unknownMy experience with realtor Rick Perk during the viewing of the studio apartment at Wannerplein 44 in Heerlen was very disappointing. During the viewing and the purchasing process, Mr. Perk knowingly and deliberately concealed serious defects in the property. Even worse, the property wasn't even listed for sale on funda or on the realtor’s website. For example, I wasn't told that the current old central heating boiler cannot be connected to an HR boiler at all and that the entire installation must be replaced, which entails a cost item of approximately €20,000. When I asked to have a structural survey carried out, this realtor refused to allow it with the story that it was not necessary. He tried to hide this serious limitation in order to facilitate the sale. Also, the necessary VVE (Homeowners Association) and sales documents were deliberately not provided, despite repeated requests from my side, so that this limitation is not made known through the minutes of the residents. In addition, he himself spontaneously determined an amount of €15,000 for the parking garage and refused to show proof showing that the parking garage is being sold for this amount. It is obvious that the amount of the parking garage is much lower than his amount; when I requested the documents from the VVE and from the parking garage, he got into a problem and decided to reject my offer so that his fraud remains hidden from me. The studio apartment is sold with a project notary, and the amount of the notary by the seller must be paid, Mr. Rick wanted me to pay these costs myself €2500 euro, while the notary fees normally do not exceed €1000 euro. The property needs major renovation immediately (with more than €35,000 in costs for kitchen, floor, bathroom, plasterwork and many more repairs, excluding the costs for the central heating boiler). Mr. Perk seemed to think he could manipulate and swindle me as a foreign buyer into agreeing to an excessively high price of €132,500 plus €15,000 for a parking space. After I accidentally discovered the limitations and lowered my offer to €115,000 euro (excluding parking costs €15000 euro), my offer was rejected without good reason after a week with the argument that the owner no longer wanted to sell the property because I had withdrawn my previous offer of €132,500. This feels to me like a choice between fraud or not selling the property. This realtor is unreliable. I advise everyone to be very careful when dealing with him and always have an independent structural survey carried out before proceeding.

You fail to mention that you left the property damaged, always washed your dog in the communal shower, did not return all keys, we had to have everything cleaned, and we had to have all of your belongings removed (inside and outside). The security deposit (€350,-) was far from sufficient to cover the costs incurred by us. It is also unfortunate that you are trying to portray me/us in a negative light in this way! 28 Nov 2022I still feel guilty about nominating this Bessems realtor regarding the sale of my mother's house in Kanne. Will de Jonge was enormously enthusiastic and really wanted to take charge of this sale. This turned out differently because Will de Jonge suddenly no longer worked for Bessems Realty the week after our commitment. What I find utterly scandalous is that we were never informed about this. Will was our point of contact, would represent us in the sale of my mother's house. Forgotten perhaps? We are not talking about a bag of candy but about a house. A bad start. After this, the entire sale unfolded into one big drama, a chain reaction of very poor communication and many mistakes, too many to mention. All in all, a very stressful experience for everyone, but especially for my 85-year-old mother. I would therefore certainly not recommend this realtor.

28 Nov 2022Would I recommend this broker? No definitely not! I would even strongly advise against this office to anyone who asks for my opinion. This agency was allowed to sell my mother's house in Belgium. Initially, we dealt with broker Wil de Jonge from Bessems agency who really wanted to sell the house for us. Due to his enthusiasm for the assignment, my mother chose Bessems. However, when I went to hand over the keys at the office for the first viewing, I was told that Mr. de Jonge no longer worked for Bessems agency. The agency did not inform us about this and they could not tell me which broker would take over Mr. de Jonge's duties. After some insistence on my part, I received an email address where I could go with my questions. I emailed and am still waiting for a response to this day..... On the day of the viewing, I myself went to wait in the building to see which broker would take on our assignment. From that moment on, Mr. Kornips was our broker but we missed the involvement, advice and expertise you would expect from a broker. And even at the time of transfer with the notary, our broker remained deficient....the energy label had not been forwarded and there was a file missing which we were unaware existed. We had requested prior to the transfer for completeness assessment of the file but also there the broker did not respond. The buyer's notary withheld 5000 euros from the purchase price until we could provide the file. A lot of stress for us and our 85-year-old mother, therefore. And from the broker no recognition for their mistakes, no empathy but a well-deserved generous commission. Even our ability to rate on funda has been blocked by Bessems which makes me wonder how much those laudatory reviews actually mean if you block negative feedback. I say in any case 'brokerage firm Erik Bessems?!' NEVER AGAIN!

Very unprofessional and does everything to collect the landlord's costs, especially if they sell. PS: nothing of the damage is worth 3000 euros. John told us he would engage professional cleaners and send us the bill. Then I received a fake bill from the owner via his wife's financial service provider. All this with John's support. This is forgery and fraud.

As an international couple, we were looking for a home in Maastricht on short notice, but given the housing crisis and the popular city, we had little hope. When John said it would definitely be possible within a foreseeable time, we held our breath. But so true, within a few weeks we signed as new tenants for a beautiful house in the city center. John was involved, communicated clearly, distinctly and quickly and was physically present everywhere. This was the first time we used a real estate agent as an intermediary but it was a super good experience. Recommended!

18 Nov 2024I rent a studio in the Boschstraat from John. It is quite expensive, but when I moved in, there was no cleaning of the entire studio. He promised to replace the toilet and sink when I moved in, but did nothing. And when I left, I signed the contract stating that everything was in order. But regarding the deposit, he said he wanted to keep the money because I had canceled the viewing on the same day due to my emergencies. When I worked with him for a new viewing, this time other tenants did not show up. He keeps blaming me for having canceled the first time. Be careful with what he says, because he says yes at first but then does nothing. Rather stingy.

I asked John for further support to see if we could find another solution and he helped me gladly. I got the impression that he really cared about my concerns and really tried his best to help me find a solution. Therefore, I recommend contacting him if you are looking for an apartment: he is probably the only real estate agent who is truly customer-oriented, always responds quickly and is understanding. I will definitely contact him in the future. A real recommendation!

During the viewing, we started talking with Annet Kleinen, the agent who showed us around. When it came up that we still had to sell our current home and hadn't yet chosen an agent, she made a non-binding appointment with us to perform a valuation. Annet was incredibly attentive and really helped us get things sorted out for the sale. That is why we were happy to work with Corio real estate agents. The collaboration went perfectly. If we had questions, we could always contact Annet, and if she wasn't available for any reason, we could safely leave our questions with the back office. We never remained unassisted. Thanks to the hard work of both the company and Annet herself, we sold our apartment within 2 weeks. Everything was thought of, and we hardly had to worry about all the official matters. Therefore, we would recommend Corio Makelaars as a company, as well as Annet Kleinen, to everyone. We have dealt with many real estate agents before we found our dream house, but Corio Makelaars stands out from the rest.

28 Nov 2019Impatient and disappointing !!. One day after the viewing ( De Vaart in Geleen ) I sent my data to my advisor. Reason is to have them calculate what my maximum mortgage may/will be. I was called by the real estate agent around 1:30 PM to make an offer. I couldn't make an offer at that time because I hadn't heard anything from my advisor yet. I had asked her and said I would keep her informed by the end of the afternoon. Fine and great she said. Around 2:00 PM I sent her a WhatsApp message saying that I want to buy the house for the asking price. I received no feedback. I called her at 4:30 PM and she didn't answer, so I left a message. The asking price of the house was €189 K, luckily I didn't buy it because I can borrow a mortgage of €230 K. I would rather buy a house from another real estate agent who does respond to their clients.
