Date unknownAfter a search with dramatic experiences, we came into contact with brokers and were introduced to Tom, who is rightfully driven, involved and reliable. Almost hit the mark with the first house, but for the second, Tom had it arranged on the day of the viewing and also quite a bit below the asking price!! That's something we didn't expect in this market. Can’t do anything other than recommend him as a (purchase) broker. Thanks again, Tom, Silvain & Linda 👍👍 PS Think twice if you are referred to Andre Feijs for finances. Only had misery and problems here that I did not resolve thanks to them. Nice story but total amateurs.

09 Jun 2025We had asked Tom for an appraisal of our home. Tom gives open and honest advice with a personal approach. He has a good understanding of things and knows how to assess the property's value correctly. Tom comes across as enthusiastic and communicates pleasantly. A breath of fresh air compared to real estate agents from other (large) agencies we had. There you are customer number . They deliver no more than assembly line work with a universal view. They release a formula without looking at the surroundings, location, etc. Everything is focused on selling as quickly as possible and moving on to the next client. That is different with Tom. He takes all the time for his clients and does that extra bit that others leave behind. We can only wholeheartedly recommend Tom!!

Once my keys broke (yes, I have that kind of luck), and without hesitation Said took on the responsibility to personally resolve the issue, which saved me a lot of stress. No hassle, no eye-rolling – just pure landlord magic. There were also moments when he offered a helping hand when it wasn't necessary, which only proves that he is one of those rare finds in the rental world. And they also have that incredible ability to respect your privacy and at the same time be approachable. It’s as if they have an invisible tenant radar – always around when you need them, but never around. The property was always in good condition, communication flowed effortlessly, and the whole experience made renting a breeze. If I weren't moving, I would still happily stay there. Five stars aren't enough – can we give out landlord trophies?

18 Jul 2025My experience with real estate agent Rick Perk during the viewing of the studio apartment at Wannerplein 44 in Heerlen was very disappointing. During the viewing and the purchasing process, Mr. Perk knowingly and deliberately concealed serious defects in the property. For example, I wasn't told that the current old central heating boiler cannot be connected to an HR boiler at all and that the entire installation must be replaced, which entails a cost of approximately €20,000. When I asked to have a structural survey carried out, this real estate agent refused to allow it with the story that it was not necessary. He tried to keep this serious limitation hidden for the sale. Also, the necessary VVE (Homeowners Association) and sales documents were deliberately not provided, despite repeated requests from my side, so that this limitation is not made known through the minutes of the residents. In addition, he himself spontaneously determined an amount of €15,000 for the parking garage and refused to show proof showing that the parking garage is being sold for this amount. It is obvious that the amount of the parking garage is much lower than his amount; when I requested the documents from the VVE and from the parking garage, he got into trouble and decided to reject my offer so that his fraud remains hidden from me. The studio apartment is sold with a project notary, and the amount of the notary by the seller must be paid, Mr. Rick wanted me to pay these costs myself €2500 euro. The property needs to be heavily renovated immediately (with more than €35,000 in costs for kitchen, floor, bathroom, plasterwork and many more repairs, excluding the cost of the central heating boiler). Mr. Perk seemed to think he could manipulate and swindle me as a foreign buyer into agreeing to an excessively high price of €132,500 plus €15,000 for a parking space. After I accidentally discovered the limitations and lowered my offer to €115,000 euro (excluding parking costs €15,000 euro), my offer was rejected without good reason after a week with the argument that the owner no longer wanted to sell the property because I had withdrawn my previous offer of €132,500. This feels to me like a choice between fraud or not selling the property. This real estate agent is unreliable. I advise everyone to be very careful when dealing with him and always have an independent structural survey carried out before proceeding.

You fail to mention that you left the property damaged, always washed your dog in the communal shower, did not return all keys, we had to have everything cleaned, and we had to have all of your belongings removed (inside and outside). The security deposit (€350,-) was far from sufficient to cover the costs incurred by us. It is also unfortunate that you are trying to portray me/us in a negative light in this way! 11 Aug 2022I still feel guilty about nominating this Bessems realtor regarding the sale of my mother's house in Kanne. Will de Jonge was enormously enthusiastic and really wanted to take charge of this sale. This turned out differently because Will de Jonge suddenly no longer worked for Bessems Realty the week after our commitment. What I find utterly scandalous is that we were never informed about this. Will was our point of contact, would represent us in the sale of my mother's house. Forgotten perhaps? We are not talking about a bag of candy but about a house. A bad start. After this, the entire sale unfolded into one big drama, a chain reaction of very poor communication and many mistakes, too many to mention. All in all, a very stressful experience for everyone, but especially for my 85-year-old mother. I would therefore certainly not recommend this realtor.

Always to my full satisfaction! Both Erik and his colleagues are clear and correct in their communication and demonstrate commitment throughout the entire process.

11 Aug 2022Would I recommend this broker? No definitely not! I would even strongly advise against this office to anyone who asks for my opinion. This agency was allowed to sell my mother's house in Belgium. Initially, we dealt with broker Wil de Jonge from Bessems agency who really wanted to sell the house for us. Due to his enthusiasm for the assignment, my mother chose Bessems. However, when I went to hand over the keys at the office for the first viewing, I was told that Mr. de Jonge no longer worked for Bessems agency. The agency did not inform us about this and they could not tell me which broker would take over Mr. de Jonge's duties. After some insistence on my part, I received an email address where I could go with my questions. I emailed and am still waiting for a response to this day..... On the day of the viewing, I myself went to wait in the building to see which broker would take on our assignment. From that moment on, Mr. Kornips was our broker but we missed the involvement, advice and expertise you would expect from a broker. And even at the time of transfer with the notary, our broker remained deficient....the energy label had not been forwarded and there was a file missing which we were unaware existed. We had requested prior to the transfer for completeness assessment of the file but also there the broker did not respond. The buyer's notary withheld 5000 euros from the purchase price until we could provide the file. A lot of stress for us and our 85-year-old mother, therefore. And from the broker no recognition for their mistakes, no empathy but a well-deserved generous commission. Even our ability to rate on funda has been blocked by Bessems which makes me wonder how much those laudatory reviews actually mean if you block negative feedback. I say in any case 'brokerage firm Erik Bessems?!' NEVER AGAIN!

11 Aug 2022Low-threshold contact. A committed broker with a personal approach and good local knowledge. Initially, there was some noise on the line regarding communication and coordination during the sales process. Erik was very receptive to feedback and took action accordingly. This resulted in a smooth subsequent procedure. Very nice to experience! The sales file looked top notch. The sale was also completed positively. Financial advice was also obtained from financial advisor Ronald Kusters (of Erik Bessems Makelaardij). Excellent help from Ronald with expert advice, pleasant explanation, good coordination and perfect follow-up of made appointments. Top! I would definitely recommend this brokerage firm!

11 Aug 2022This office sold my mother's house. It has only brought her and us (the children) a lot of frustration. I could tell a very long story full of examples of sloppy or simply negligent actions from Bessems Makelaardij. Especially the attitude in this case from Bessems was experienced by us as very disappointing. And when you then want to share your experience on Funda, they also took away that possibility by disabling this function for us. Even more disappointing. If only they were so quick in communication. It is a pity that we had a contract because our trust quickly disappeared. I would therefore certainly not recommend this real estate agency.

20 Aug 2021For a property at Neerhem 77 in Valkenburg, we had a viewing some time ago. Because we had to travel almost 3 hours, I asked beforehand if there were any particulars and whether the condition of maintenance, which was supposedly good according to the realtor's advertisement, was actually the case. The realtor assured us that there were no particulars and that we could come by without worry. Once we arrived, things started badly; the facade as a whole needed renovation with respect to the window frames and plasterwork. When we wanted to go inside, it turned out that the realtor did not have his key with him and had to rush to the office to retrieve it. Once inside, we were amazed by one thing after another. There were cracks throughout the entire property, and contrary to the photos, the whole made a very neglected impression. Almost all doors, ceilings, and plasterwork needed to be addressed or renewed. The realtor also suddenly stated that asbestos was incorporated into the property. In short, for a property which was said to have no particulars and was in good condition, it was a huge disappointment. No apology was ever made for the incorrect information that was provided.

14 Jul 2018This broker does not adhere to the rules. This broker forces buyers to sign an addition to an already signed purchase agreement. However, the buyer does not want this addition. This broker threatens to unilaterally terminate the purchase agreement and threatens that the agreed-upon claimable penalty of 10% will not be paid out if the agreed-upon agreement is not fulfilled. Oh yes, the reason for the addition is a mistake by Ruijters. In any case, I do NOT recommend this broker to anyone!
