Likely very well informed about the market etc. But staff spoke disparagingly about potential tenants. I was quite shocked by that. It's been a while now. For several weeks now, we have been requesting a viewing regarding a property being offered by De Groot real estate agency. Our contact details have been provided multiple times. To date, no response has been received to this request. In my opinion, it is also not pleasant for the selling private individual if you miss out on a potential candidate. Concluding, not the service you would expect from a realtor.

We would like to explain this, as the described situation does not entirely match reality. Your initial request via Funda was received by us. You were subsequently contacted by telephone, but we did not receive an answer. Subsequently, contact was made directly with you by email. We did not receive a response from your side to either the missed phone call or our email. More than a month later, we received another request from you. During this second contact moment, one of our back-office employees spoke to you on the phone. It was explained that the property in question had already been withdrawn from sale. Shortly thereafter, you were called again by the real estate agent himself and the situation was personally explained. We always strive for correct and timely communication with all interested parties. In this case, we have acted to the best of our ability within the possibilities at that time. After having inquired with several brokers for assistance with a purchase and receiving little or no response, I filled out the contact form of Van Reenen Makelaardij. Henry called me back so quickly, almost as if he were calling me back before I had even submitted my request; this is also symbolic of the rest of the communication. Henry is truly always available and genuinely takes the time to ensure that you understand what he does and why he does it. What particularly struck me is that this absolutely doesn't feel like a commercial service; it’s very personal, and Henry really has passion for his work. It’s clearly not mass production, but sincere and careful guidance. I cannot recommend Henry wholeheartedly enough to anyone who wants to buy or sell a house!

Contact was smooth and pleasant. Both Maghann and Cees were both OK. Meghann thought the same as I, contrary to other brokers who were more focused on many viewers by setting a low price. Viewers are not buyers so we were looking for a target group which did have interest in the purchase price.
