Great experience! Although finding a rental property in Amsterdam can be quite a challenge, KK Amsterdam was a great find and the entire process went very smoothly. The agents are very friendly and you can really tell that their customer service mentality is far from the norm. Our experiences with other agencies were terrible. We mostly only received automated email responses and if we were lucky enough to get a viewing, they would show up without any interest and just wanted to be done with it (and don't care, since the market is so dynamic (they know someone will rent the property anyway). With KK Amsterdam, from the first email we received from them, we could see that they wanted to put a little more 'humanity' into their interaction with us. I would absolutely recommend them!!

We were scammed by this real estate agency. We rented an apartment for 2700 (Lindengracht 332), which they touted as recently renovated and beautiful. In reality, this apartment was filthy and disgusting. The walls had black mold everywhere, the furniture was broken, every corner of the apartment was dirty, worn out, and disgusting. After being confronted with the problems, they started lying and blaming my relatives for 'not following the standard procedure', which was completely untrue. Ultimately, we had to hire a lawyer, but we did get our deposit back, but we were still ripped off by an extra €1350 by the greedy landlord who refused to take responsibility for his disgusting apartment.

Prestige Housing knows the Amsterdam rental market, has contacts with companies where expats work. I had my apartment for rent through a real estate agent for a month and it wasn't rented out. Prestige Housing took different photos, a different description. Within a few days I had three viewings and within a week it was rented out. Clear price agreements. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience with this real estate agency. I see that there are some negative reviews here, but I think that's because they are very honest and tell you what they think. Some people would rather not hear bad news about their houseboat. Harald made a huge effort to sell our houseboat in Amsterdam and spent many hours helping us find the right buyer and resolving some problems that arose. We wholeheartedly recommend this real estate agency.

Unbelievable, called only to inquire about possibilities, immediately came across as annoyed, just wanted to know what my disposable budget was, when he heard that he had to visibly restrain his laughter and stated, well there are no houseboats for that amount. Called another broker and no problem, simply helped him nicely and even entered a trajectory. Avoid this broker! Unless you drive a Tesla or meet the 7 vinkjes apparently?!

This broker performed a financing appraisal on our houseboat with garden and various outbuildings in Muiden. Purchased four years ago, more than €100,000 invested in improvements, renovations and extensions. Throughout the Netherlands, value increases are skyrocketing and we are decreasing in value 😂😂😂😂. So be alert when doing business with this office!!!

I've seen brokers with more passion for their profession before. The selling party wasn't really satisfied either and in any case, with the sale of the property that we purchased, this broker mainly radiated a lot of disinterest. Let's hope that with other houseboats, this broker exudes some more enthusiasm and that this transaction is not exemplary for the rest of his work. So those who have positive experiences can always report them here.

This broker/appraiser doesn't want to appraise an ark because he has heard that it is pointless (sale price too high). He has, among other things, heard that there is a devastating building report. I know that report and point out that this is not correct and whether he might like to come and have a look with his own eyes, as I am simply paying for the appraisal, but he refuses any cooperation. Very strange.

We couldn't get our houseboat sold through a competing realtor. Then we ultimately decided to go with Capaan & Falkeisen. And successfully, within 2 months our houseboat was sold!
