Wij hebben onlangs onze woning verkocht en tijdens de eindinspectie was Chris van Walton Makelaardij aanwezig als aankoopmakelaar van de kopers. Helaas hebben wij dit contact als erg onaangenaam en onprofessioneel ervaren. Om tijdens de inspectie kennis te maken met de kopers en hen te feliciteren had ik op mijn werk speciaal geregeld dat iemand mij tijdelijk kon vervangen. Juist daarom vond ik het extra teleurstellend hoe wij werden ontvangen. Er was nauwelijks sprake van vriendelijkheid of een normale kennismaking, de sfeer was direct kil en bot. De woning was schoon en netjes achtergelaten. Tijdens de inspectie werd een beschadiging op een deur ontdekt die wij vóór de verhuizing zelf niet hadden gezien. In plaats van eerst rustig te overleggen met de kopers over een passende oplossing, werd er direct door de aankoopmakelaar een vergoeding geëist. Daarbij werd aangegeven dat een nieuwe deur “vaak 400 à 500 euro kost” en dat zij daarom “redelijk” wilden zijn met een vergoeding van ongeveer 250 euro. Uiteindelijk hebben wij, om verdere discussie en problemen te voorkomen zoals hij wilde ter plekke 200 euro overgemaakt. Achteraf hebben wij zelf onderzoek gedaan naar de betreffende binnendeur (een Svedex deur met dezelfde afmetingen) en bleek de nieuwprijs rond de 110 euro te liggen. Dat gaf ons een erg vervelend gevoel. Niet alleen vanwege het bedrag, maar vooral door de manier waarop er met ons werd omgegaan: weinig respect, geen ruimte voor overleg en erg zakelijk op een onaangename manier. Zelfs onze eigen makelaar gaf aan dat dit niet de manier is waarop je normaal met mensen omgaat tijdens een overdracht. Ze vond het ook erg spijtig voor ons dat het op deze manier ging. Wij hebben zelden zo’n negatieve ervaring gehad in het contact met een makelaar. Ben je op zoek naar een makelaar waarbij vriendelijkheid, respectvolle communicatie en professioneel gedrag belangrijk zijn? Dan zouden wij adviseren om verder te kijken.
