It was a difficult sale, almost 3 years on the market. The real estate agent kept believing in it, new photos, video, it helped. We received a fantasy offer, unbelievable.

I am being called and they are asking for a man (tom) whom I do not know and that this person does not have my number. Tip always check the number if you need to call the customer back and by repeating the number to the person themselves, which prevents calling strangers.

Beautiful properties offered in prime locations at fair prices - exceptions confirm the rule... once the leather sofa was completely worn out, but otherwise the properties were always well-equipped and well-maintained. Good website, booking requests can be easily made. Confirmation will be given immediately during office hours. Smooth and friendly handling on site as well. Communication is easy, also in German. You will receive a care package containing a dishcloth, scrubbing brush, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, matches and a roll of toilet paper. Good service. It's a bit annoying that linen packages (towels, bed linen) have to be booked separately for an extra charge and are not present in the rental property, let alone that the beds are made with them. We also had towels that were absolutely worn out and partially stained, although they were clearly freshly washed. So return it or reluctantly accept it for the rather hefty price. Neither is great. All in all, we have been very satisfied regular customers for years. Cadzand Bad is our second home and we have been coming here since childhood at least once a year. Otherwise we miss something. ... and our descendants feel the same way about it. Goodbye!

I had made a request for a viewing of a penthouse (with recreational use) in Cadzand with Jan de Dobbelaere. We agreed there and Jan showed me around (with few words/explanations). Also viewed the associated wellness area and asked about the procedure/use of the wellness (exclusive or shared use, sharing with the chalet park next door? etc.). This was not entirely clear how that is arranged.(?) I left with a number of questions which I subsequently drafted and sent by email to the real estate agent. Questions about the rental agreement of the landlord and previous rental income from the apartments. Since you are obliged to rent out the plot, these are legitimate questions that are important for further consideration. After all, Jan could not answer these questions on the spot. Logical; However, after waiting more than a week, we still had heard nothing or received an email. Subsequently, we decided not to proceed and look elsewhere for a holiday home. We also shared this by email, but received no response here either. A pity, and particularly disappointing, because we were enthusiastic about the property. As far as I am concerned, a missed opportunity.

Mijn vriend en ik besloten om te gaan samenwonen en onze eigen woningen te verkopen, zodat wij een frisse start konden maken. Na wat rond gevraagd te hebben, kwam o.a. de naam MyHouse een paar keer terug. Ik maakte een afspraak voor waardebepaling. Ik had een goed gevoel bij het contact met Carolien. Ze leek geëngageerd en geïnteresseerd. Ik vertrouwde uiteindelijk de verkoop van mijn woning toe aan MyHouse en mijn vriend deed hetzelfde. Het contract werd getekend en vanaf dat moment ging alles steil bergaf. Carolien verdween volledig uit beeld en quasi al het contact verliep via een stagiaire. Wat een drama... Ik had alles netjes opgelijst ivm uitgevoerde verbouwing; je zou denken dat dit intern doorgegeven wordt. Niet dus. Je moet alles driedubbel controleren. Toen mijn vriend zijn huis online ging werd hem gevraagd wat de afgesproken prijs was...euhm dat weet Carolien toch? Nee...Carolien was ziek en mocht niet gestoord worden... Ook bij hem werd niet alles correct weergegeven. Dus daar moesten we ook weer achteraan. Er werd al eens vergeten een bezichtiging door te geven, kan gebeuren natuurlijk. Of ik kreeg te horen dat ik een afspraak niet had bevestigd, wat pertinent onwaar is. Maar excuses moet je hier niet verwachten. Nou ja 1 keer belde Tamara om zich te excuseren namens MyHouse met de mededeling dat dit niet hun gebruikelijke manier van werken is... Er veranderde vervolgens helemaal niets. Bepaalde tijdstippen waren voor mij niet mogelijk. Je zou denken dat dit ergens genoteerd wordt...elke keer opnieuw moest ik uitleggen waarom, hoe en wanneer... Na elke bezichtiging werd ik even gebeld om te zeggen hoe het gegaan was en er werd afgesloten met:"je hoort ons nog". Euhm...dat bleek een loze belofte, want blijkbaar is er geen opvolging en als die er al is, wordt daarover helemaal niet gecommuniceerd. Wanneer je dan belt, zegt de ene zus en de ander zo. Als je makelaar tegen je zegt nadat iemand voor de tweede keer is komen kijken, dat die persoon in de daaropvolgende week een definitieve beslissing zal nemen, mag ik, denk ik, veronderstellen dat ook opgevolgd wordt. Niets is minder waar... Je moet bijna smeken om iets van informatie te krijgen. Het is trekken aan een dood paard. Het aanplakbord was kapot gewaaid door de wind... Ik heb ruim een maand moeten smeken om een nieuw bord. Een maand! Uiteindelijk kreeg ik een nieuw bord dat op een vreselijk amateuristische wijze aan mijn eigen boompalen werd bevestigd. Hier heb je je bord! Mijn buren vroegen me smalend of ik zelf aan het knutselen was gegaan. Er is geen oprechte interesse, vooral veel nonchalance en desinteresse. Er is geen communicatie en geen opvolging. Je moet overal zelf achteraan en hopen dat je nog wat hoort. Een mooie luxe verpakking zonder inhoud. Mijn vriend had in de ruim vier maanden dat zijn huis te koop stond slechts één bezichtiging. Toen wij hen de vraag stelden of we zelf iets konden doen (nieuwe foto's, ...) werd geantwoord dat ze dit zouden bespreken op de vergadering. Je raadt het al: "je hoort ons nog". Ze hebben ons nooit geantwoord.Exit MyHouse dan maar. De nieuwe makelaar gaf ons in een half uur meer tips en advies dan in de tenenkrommende weet-ik-hoeveel-maanden die we hebben moeten ondergaan bij MyHouse. Duidelijke en directe communicatie en geen mooie met stroop omhulde holle woorden, maar actie en tips waarmee wij aan de slag konden. MyHouse doet echt NIKS. Ze ontzorgen niet, ze denken niet met je mee en je krijgt het gevoel dat je het onmogelijke van hen verlangt. Het absolute minimum volstaat voor hen. Ze blinken uit in amateurisme en nonchalanche. Het kan hen eenvoudigweg niet boeien. Je hoeft van hen geen excuses te verwachten of oprechte belangstelling. We zijn met stomheid geslagen en vooral verbolgen over het feit dat ze aan het einde van de rit een flinke som opstrijken en er bitter weinig hebben moeten voor doen. Je kan het even goed zelf verkopen... We zijn helaas ook niet de enige met dergelijke ervaring. We horen steeds meer klachten, zowel van verkopers/ verhuurders als van potentiële kopers/ huurders.

Poor real estate agency regarding rentals. Trying to make an appointment for a viewing of a property. Had to provide all my details and then heard nothing more. A few weeks later, requested a viewing for another property. Asked if I wanted to submit my details again. Received no response whatsoever to the reply that I had already submitted them. If this is how they do business ..... You'd better be your own realtor. Today, after posting a review, received a phone call from Myhouse within 10 minutes. Suddenly, after all those weeks, a viewing would now be possible ....... No thank you. Too unreliable.

My experience with MyHouse real estate agency was very disappointing. Contact is extremely difficult, an appointment wasn't cancelled, after calling 5 times I still couldn't get through on a Friday afternoon! I am glad the property has new tenants but myself (the client who pays the bill) was not aware when the deal was actually finalized and I was already working with another party. I really wondered for which party they were working!

This year 2023 we offered our house for sale in Eede through MyHouse real estate agents.
