03 Sep 2025I bought a property through Pickée Makelaardij that was sold from an estate. Although I knew that this type of purchase brings extra risks, I at least expected the realtor to be willing to think along when there were direct defects upon handover, such as a leaking shower, which seriously hinders the normal use of the property. Unfortunately, Pickée was completely unwilling to do anything or even consider a reasonable solution, despite the defect becoming apparent immediately after handover. Everything was legally nitpicked, without any empathy or service. Especially disappointing because I bid significantly above the asking price. I understand that a realtor represents the seller, but this kind of hard stance towards the buyer (who is notably also a client in the process) says a lot about the mentality and customer orientation of this office. In short: are you a buyer with Pickée? Be warned. You're completely on your own.

03 Apr 2025'My experience with this realtor was absolutely disappointing. When we wanted to buy a property through them, we were excited by the photos and description. However, after the purchase, we discovered significant damage to the roof and foundation that had not been mentioned. It turned out that the realtor was aware of this but simply concealed it. When we contacted them, no responsibility was taken and we only received vague answers. It seemed as if they were only interested in closing the deal, without any concern for the buyer. This unprofessional attitude has cost me a lot of time, money and stress. I therefore strongly advise against using this realtor!!'

House purchased through this realtor and both the buying and selling parties experienced this as very unpleasant afterwards. Mrs. tells half-truths and conceals damage to houses. Shady practices therefore from this realtor. Even if our dream house is for sale with this realtor, we will not do business with Pickée again!

Almost hit the mark with the first house, but for the second, Tom had it arranged on the day of the viewing and also quite a bit below the asking price!! That's something we didn't expect in this market. Can’t do anything other than recommend him as a (purchase) broker. Thanks again, Tom, Silvain & Linda 👍👍 PS Think twice if you are referred to Andre Feijs for finances. Only had misery and problems here that I did not resolve thanks to them. Nice story but total amateurs.

26 Jun 2025We had asked Tom for an appraisal of our home. Tom gives open and honest advice with a personal approach. He has a good understanding of things and knows how to assess the property's value correctly. Tom comes across as enthusiastic and communicates pleasantly. A breath of fresh air compared to real estate agents from other (large) agencies we had. There you are customer number . They deliver no more than assembly line work with a universal view. They release a formula without looking at the surroundings, location, etc. Everything is focused on selling as quickly as possible and moving on to the next client. That is different with Tom. He takes all the time for his clients and does that extra bit that others leave behind. We can only wholeheartedly recommend Tom!!

Comes with a clear plan of action and does not build castles in the air. Once my keys broke (yes, I have that kind of luck), and without hesitation Said took on the responsibility to personally resolve the issue, which saved me a lot of stress. No hassle, no eye-rolling – just pure landlord magic. There were also moments when he offered a helping hand when it wasn't necessary, which only proves that he is one of those rare finds in the rental world. And they also have that incredible ability to respect your privacy and at the same time be approachable. It’s as if they have an invisible tenant radar – always around when you need them, but never around. The property was always in good condition, communication flowed effortlessly, and the whole experience made renting a breeze. If I weren't moving, I would still happily stay there. Five stars aren't enough – can we give out landlord trophies?

11 Aug 2019Last week I visited this real estate agency where my daughter signed her preliminary purchase agreement. The first meeting with the realtor who had the house for sale was terribly pushy, everything had to be arranged as soon as possible, no consideration whatsoever for the buyer's agenda. Our advisor was on vacation, which meant the preliminary purchase agreement could not be checked. The seller had already signed and we had to come sign a day later; the reason was that the realtor had more interested parties and wanted certainty. He had, however, already obtained this certainty by having full access to our financial data, which we had given him. We are now two weeks after the first viewing, during which we were already at the office once to provide the data – double work because my advisor could have sent them after his week of vacation. The following week, he called several times and left very pushy voicemails. My daughter was on time for the appointment that took place last week, and I arrived a little later. My daughter said that our advisor had given verbal approval to sign just 5 minutes earlier by phone with a few minor adjustments. I then told the realtor that I find him very pushy and that we, as buyers, have rights to have a purchase agreement checked by our advisor. He kept hammering on the fact that he has been making contracts for 30 years and knows how it should be done, which is probably true, but we are laymen so I want it checked. He said that it would take too long and there were still other buyers; I then said that this shouldn't matter, we as buyers also have rights. This man then said, “I think you’re talking big,” in a very intimidating way. I replied that I found him anything but sociable and that I was going to write a review and certainly wouldn’t recommend his services and hopefully never have to come back here again. He then stated that I should be careful about what I do or say because he could still ensure that we don't get the house. This was also very intimidating. I pointed out that, in my opinion, the seller also has something to say about this, to which he said that this certainly wasn’t the case. Later, he sent an email to our advisor stating that I underestimated the influence of the realtor; there is definitely a power imbalance here. “The customer is king” is far from reality as far as I'm concerned. I certainly won’t let myself be stopped from posting this now. An event that should be special for my daughter felt, in my opinion, like a nightmare due to a very intimidating person; hopefully the house will bring us more pleasure. Sir the realtor doesn't underestimate me as an intimidated buyer.
