17 Mar 2025'My experience with this realtor was absolutely disappointing. When we wanted to buy a property through them, we were excited by the photos and description. However, after the purchase, we discovered significant damage to the roof and foundation that had not been mentioned. It turned out that the realtor was aware of this but simply concealed it. When we contacted them, no responsibility was taken and we only received vague answers. It seemed as if they were only interested in closing the deal, without any concern for the buyer. This unprofessional attitude has cost me a lot of time, money and stress. I therefore strongly advise against using this realtor!!'

Date unknownMrs. Pickée herself seems very attentive. However, do not be fooled... House purchased through this realtor and both the buying and selling parties experienced this as very unpleasant afterwards. Mrs. tells half-truths and conceals damage to houses. Shady practices therefore from this realtor. Even if our dream house is for sale with this realtor, we will not do business with Pickée again!

Date unknownGreat reception for signing the preliminary purchase agreement. Afterwards, I'm not as happy as I was, the house had many defects while it was signed on paper that everything was in order. For example, the parquet turned out to be laminate, the jacuzzi didn't work and was leaking. It was stated that radiators would not leak, but I couldn't test them during handover because it was too warm, but when I switched on the heating on a cold day, all the radiators leaked. After complaining about this to the real estate agent, they said they would pass it on to the seller. After repeatedly asking about it, I eventually received notification from the seller who said that's how she bought it and she didn’t want to pay compensation for costs incurred. But the real estate agent had given me documents stating everything was in order and also said that there would be parquet flooring in the living room, which turned out to be laminate, so this was incorrect and they are not responding to this at all. So really not happy with this false sale.

02 Jun 2025We had asked Tom for an appraisal of our home. Tom gives open and honest advice with a personal approach. He has a good understanding of things and knows how to assess the property's value correctly. Tom comes across as enthusiastic and communicates pleasantly. A breath of fresh air compared to real estate agents from other (large) agencies we had. There you are customer number . They deliver no more than assembly line work with a universal view. They release a formula without looking at the surroundings, location, etc. Everything is focused on selling as quickly as possible and moving on to the next client. That is different with Tom. He takes all the time for his clients and does that extra bit that others leave behind. We can only wholeheartedly recommend Tom!!

Almost hitting the mark with the first house, but for the second, Tom had arranged it on the day of the viewing and also quite a bit below the asking price!! My own house hunt quickly felt like a hopeless mission, but one phone call to Tom van Houtem and everything immediately accelerated! Clear and transparent explanation of the plan of approach. Cooperative, advising and immediately takes action. What you can expect is smooth, concise, and above all effective communication. Both during and outside office hours. This not only gives you confidence in the process as a client, but also the feeling that someone is truly involved and you are certainly not left alone anymore. In my case, a very short but powerful procedure, which has left me with both a personal and professional impression. Absolutely recommendable! Should it ever come to pass in the future that I want to sell, I at least now know who I will contact first again! Curious whether the champagne will once again beat the coffee. Comes with a clear plan of action and does not build castles in the air. 07 Jul 2025I had two viewings with real estate agent Saïd. The first property (studio) I immediately rejected because it didn't align with my housing wishes. For the second property (small apartment), I made an offer of €150,000 euro without a mortgage, which was in proportion to the condition of the property that has been for sale for 6 months— as a lot needs to be renovated directly, including the kitchen, bathroom, floor, central heating boiler and the toilet. The small apartment is not worth more than €130,000 euro; he had estimated it at €179,000 euro for a pile of an apartment where everything needs to be renovated immediately. This type of dishonest real estate agents inflate the market value of the properties very much with their false estimate value. During the viewing, I noticed that the realtor arrived 15 minutes later than the agreed appointment. He was rushed and unfriendly. He didn't take the time to show all rooms calmly, and the storage room wasn’t shown at all. When he knew about my financial situation after selling my previous home, his attitude seemed to change. He indicated that he “wanted everything €160,000 euro”, in other words: he tried to put pressure on me to make a higher bid, solely to earn more himself as he stated. His behavior gave me the feeling that he would block the sale if I didn’t meet his expectations. He thought I was a stupid woman so he could easily manipulate me. I found this way of working anything but professional. As a buyer you want to be taken seriously and treated fairly — that wasn't the case here. My experience with this realtor was very disappointing and I cannot recommend him. I am glad it didn’t go through.

Dear Madam, you are disappointed and angry because the seller does not want to accept your offer. There is not much I can do as a real estate agent regarding this. Your total budget is 150,000 euros. A seller decides whether or not they agree with an offer, not the real estate agent. I called you at 12:55 pm to let you know I was 5 minutes late. You indicated that this was no problem. I showed you 2 apartments on Saturday. This seems like a reasonable service to me. We work with a fixed amount for homes up to 295,000 euros. Both apartments are below that price range so I cannot earn more or less regardless of your offer. You send messages stating that a kitchen costs 8000 euro in Germany. There is not much I can do as a real estate agent regarding this. Despite your disappointment, I wish you all the best and hope you will find a suitable home. Greetings Parkstad Makelaardij

Once my keys broke (yes, I have that kind of luck), and without hesitation Said took on the responsibility to personally resolve the issue, which saved me a lot of stress. No hassle, no eye-rolling – just pure landlord magic. There were also moments when he offered a helping hand when it wasn't necessary, which only proves that he is one of those rare finds in the rental world. And they also have that incredible ability to respect your privacy and at the same time be approachable. It’s as if they have an invisible tenant radar – always around when you need them, but never around. The property was always in good condition, communication flowed effortlessly, and the whole experience made renting a breeze. If I weren't moving, I would still happily stay there. Five stars aren't enough – can we give out landlord trophies?

19 Jun 2019Last week I visited this real estate agency where my daughter signed her preliminary purchase agreement. The first meeting with the realtor who had the house for sale was terribly pushy, everything had to be arranged as soon as possible, no consideration whatsoever for the buyer's agenda. Our advisor was on vacation, which meant the preliminary purchase agreement could not be checked. The seller had already signed and we had to come sign a day later; the reason was that the realtor had more interested parties and wanted certainty. He had, however, already obtained this certainty by having full access to our financial data, which we had given him. We are now two weeks after the first viewing, during which we were already at the office once to provide the data – double work because my advisor could have sent them after his week of vacation. The following week, he called several times and left very pushy voicemails. My daughter was on time for the appointment that took place last week, and I arrived a little later. My daughter said that our advisor had given verbal approval to sign just 5 minutes earlier by phone with a few minor adjustments. I then told the realtor that I find him very pushy and that we, as buyers, have rights to have a purchase agreement checked by our advisor. He kept hammering on the fact that he has been making contracts for 30 years and knows how it should be done, which is probably true, but we are laymen so I want it checked. He said that it would take too long and there were still other buyers; I then said that this shouldn't matter, we as buyers also have rights. This man then said, “I think you’re talking big,” in a very intimidating way. I replied that I found him anything but sociable and that I was going to write a review and certainly wouldn’t recommend his services and hopefully never have to come back here again. He then stated that I should be careful about what I do or say because he could still ensure that we don't get the house. This was also very intimidating. I pointed out that, in my opinion, the seller also has something to say about this, to which he said that this certainly wasn’t the case. Later, he sent an email to our advisor stating that I underestimated the influence of the realtor; there is definitely a power imbalance here. “The customer is king” is far from reality as far as I'm concerned. I certainly won’t let myself be stopped from posting this now. An event that should be special for my daughter felt, in my opinion, like a nightmare due to a very intimidating person; hopefully the house will bring us more pleasure. Sir the realtor doesn't underestimate me as an intimidated buyer.

We are very satisfied with his service. We like open and transparent and he fully embodies that. He kept his appointments and his invoice was also top-notch. Other brokers ask much more and seem to deliver less than Timmermans Vastgoed. Definitely recommended! From the moment of our first phone call, I found him very involved, honest and transparent as an agent; my partner later felt just as enthusiastic about him as I did. We have spoken to many agents recently in our search for a home but Marvin Timmermans quickly distinguished himself. A nice man who is not a 'billable hour' person; during the viewing, he guided us well and even thought along with us and gave tips on how we could best renovate the house. He has a lot of knowledge of the area and also recommended a good restaurant nearby. Both my partner and I were impressed by Marvin’s approach during the two viewings we had of the property.
