According to article 7:206 and 7:217 BW, maintenance and repair are the responsibility of the landlord, not the tenant. Such practices are not only scandalous but also legally untenable. Thanks to our lawyer we got every cent back. Do not hesitate for a second to seek legal help if you have to deal with this office. That is the only language they seem to understand. What a shameless organization. Their way of working is manipulative, intimidating and harmful to trust in the rental sector. Be deeply ashamed — companies like this are ruining the housing market.
