When it seemed like things were going to go wrong with the selected buyer, forward-thinking was applied in follow-up steps, I received explanations regarding the legal rules and regular updates on the status of affairs. When I asked if they had reviewed the purchase agreement, they reacted dismissively because it was just a standard contract and didn't need to be read. However, there were several non-standard extra sections. Many recommended third parties such as notary, building inspection, and appraisal were poorly regarded and not worth recommending overall. Overall, I don’t feel like I was well supported in buying my house and I am of the opinion that the costs have not been balanced with the services provided. I will avoid this real estate agent in the future. Edit 26-09-2024: Response to Rob from Disbergen: This is certainly not a misunderstanding but happened some years ago. I submitted a long complaint email at the time. It was then forwarded to the relevant real estate agent and nothing further was done about it. Given that I still find this unpleasant and you didn’t do anything about it back then, even though there was an opportunity, I am now posting this review to warn others. As confirmation that it is the correct office, the involved realtor was Marcel T.

This too was quickly and well resolved. The buyer of our house also stated that the real estate agent took plenty of time during the viewing, which they had experienced differently before. So once again Twan Poels is highly recommended

The expectation that there would be significantly higher bids has not been met by the market in this case. However, we did not know this beforehand either.
