You make an appointment for an appraisal, and the gentleman casually cancels a few hours beforehand. Reason: they already have plenty of work. We are also busy. But we still make time in our agenda for this appointment. Which now will not take place. Wasted effort and a waste of our time.

We are always helped correctly and expertly with attention to our specific situation where I am not an easy customer and have always done my homework. Questions are answered quickly and adjustments are processed well. With the second mortgage, all loan components and various options were discussed with corresponding risk profiles. Also the increase (unfortunately necessary due to rising costs for new construction) without problems and notary because the advice was good initially, therefore saving notary fees. We will definitely arrange our next mortgage through Boekelo (Menno) again.

Unfortunately, little came of all the predictions and “with certainty above the asking price”. It started with many viewers on funda and also reasonable attendance of viewers who wanted to see the house. The eventual buyers did want it, but hadn't yet put their own house up for sale and therefore wanted a suspensive condition that they would receive...

It's unfortunate to read that the assessment does not give the correct representation. 16 Sep 2024When we bought our current home some years ago, we engaged a structural engineer for a technical inspection. What a great guy he was. I've always maintained that you have to come from a good house to surpass such an expert man. Someone you don’t just find easily. But yes indeed.....he has been found, and it is Hittjo de Wal of Woonstee Makelaars! On the website he is described as a down-to-earth Groninger with a realistic view of things, and I can only agree. Last Friday, August 30, 2024, I had an appointment with him for a technical inspection in connection with the purchase of a property. It can be stated without further ado that Hittjo is structurally very knowledgeable and misses nothing. At least....that’s my conclusion, and after completing the very thorough inspection, I was convinced that almost every square centimeter of the house has been examined. Hittjo is a super enthusiastic man who takes his work very seriously and clearly sees his work as a hobby too. And all this with a good dose of humor. From me he gets a big feather and wishes everyone who needs a technical 'expert'. Once again, thank you very much for your expertise Hittjo! I know how to find you if that should be necessary again. 16 Jul 2024Hello, We have made an offer on a house in Midwolda and the offer was accepted by the sellers and we started everything in motion and Mr. Hittjo de Wal simply calls after a week and says that the house will not go through and has been sold to the other buyers because they have cash money. We think this is very sad from the company Woonstee, that we are being put at costs. And if you read the reviews well, then they do that and I am not the only one. Friendly angry realtor. Be careful. Well, it's quite something to get a bad review because you adhere to the law and also to your duty to protect the interests of your client (the seller). We naturally understand that Rob and Annet are very disappointed, but things are somewhat different than they say. After a verbal agreement was reached, we clearly pointed out to them via email that as long as there is no signed purchase agreement, both parties are free to withdraw from the sale. A verbal agreement is simply not valid. And if a better buyer appears in the meantime, it is our DUTY to inform the seller of this, and the seller is FREE to enter into an agreement with this other buyer. Furthermore, the house was NOT just sold to someone else (and there’s absolutely no question of cash), because we still offered them the opportunity to adjust their bid. The fact that Rob and Annet have incurred costs is their own choice. We did not advise them to start the mortgage application or put their house on the market prematurely. And an appointment for a building inspection had not yet been made. Perhaps it would have been better if they had been assisted by a buyer's agent, who could then have explained the rules to them as well.
