Broker cancelled the first appointment. For the new appointment, she arrived exactly on time as agreed. Had a nice conversation. The agreement is to sell two houses and buy 1 new one. The broker viewed everything and said she would come up with prices soon. Unfortunately, she never came back about this. We will look for another broker who wants to help us with selling and buying.

Communication is quite moderate. In their sales role, they focus on creating urgency (proposing time slots to the nearest 10 minutes, up to setting deadlines). It wouldn't be my choice to have my home sold with them.

Don't get into a discussion. This appraisal is our second best option, because an official complaint (via their own NVM network) would cost money and wouldn't have achieved anything, since they protect each other. A classic case of what they call a 'handjeklap', where the selling and buying agents had an unspoken agreement not to achieve the best result for their client, but for themselves. After we had seen a house on Funda (which was still for sale), we contacted Nelisse to request an inspection. Mrs. Postma then told us that the house was sold and could not be viewed. By chance, we found out that we knew the owners, who then told us directly that it WAS NOT sold and that they would welcome a new offer, since so far they had only received one (under the asking price), which is, to put it mildly, unusual in this housing crisis. The agent reluctantly agreed to let us participate in the bidding process after the owners, armed with our feedback, told them that they had sold the house for a much better price. Despite all the agent's efforts to prevent us from doing so. The contact with Mrs. Postma has since been, to put it mildly, cold, as she was angry that she couldn't sell the house to whom she wanted. A terrible ordeal in what should have been a pleasant and exciting time for all parties involved.

My mother came into this business today at 15:00 hours. She came here to pick up sales documentation for a new construction project. Here she was told that this would not be available until 16:00, while the documentation was right in front of her. To her regret, she was not allowed to take it with her. Very customer unfriendly company. Not flexible. 'We cannot treat you any differently than other customers' for 1 hour? I find that very regrettable. For such a large investment, with absolutely 0 advantage over other customers, I find this incomprehensible. We will not be returning here.
