A few weeks ago we saw a rental property that we were interested in. We contacted the real estate agent via their own website. But after a full week, we still received no response. So we sent an email, tried to call, and attempted to contact them via Facebook Chat. Almost a week later, we finally received a reply stating that we could come for a viewing. The viewing itself went well and we have no negative comments about it. However, what we do find objectionable is that we informed them via email on the same evening that we were interested in the apartment, as agreed. And we also included a few extra questions. We received nothing back regarding this and later had to see on the website that the apartment had already been rented out. We at least expected a reply stating that we hadn't been selected. Very unprofessional to hear nothing from you at all and leave us waiting. In short: - Difficult to contact - Doesn’t respond if you haven’t been chosen

Multiple messages regarding a property. Without any response

A few years ago, Rick helped us find a new house in Enschede. After visiting other houses, he perfectly understood what I was looking for and suggested the house we eventually rented, fully renovated. I have a very good memory of that first professional contact. We lived in that house for more than 6 years. Recently, we had contact with Rick again for the checkout. In both cases, Rick was extremely professional, but also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Rick to work with him for your house.

My experience: we paid 300 euros in mediation fees, but received no fair service. Ultimately, HousingXL Twente admits in the email that there was no inspection report drawn up in 2015 when I moved in (while according to the contract there should have been one). Without any evidence to compare the condition of the apartment, HousingXL directly transferred our full deposit (575 euros) to the landlord without informing me and refused to look for a solution any further. Sorry, but if this is your way of doing business, I am forced to post an honest review online to warn people who carefully handle their deposit and when choosing a real estate agent.
