If I could have given 0 stars, I would have. Is your dream house for sale with this real estate agent? Don't even bother looking, he will only play with you to get a higher bid. During the viewing, the man said 'we don't do games, if we receive a bid and it is accepted, we won't play people out with overbids to prevent the frustration of people'. Sounds very honest and great! Friday morning at 9 am our offer was accepted, we would receive the agreement on the same day or max. by Monday, we heard on Monday evening that someone had made a higher bid. He had had 2 full days to email the agreement (of course I don't count the weekend), but the intention was only to take some time to get other bids in with the certainty that if this didn't happen, the house would anyway be sold. Coincidentally, it is also not listed on Funda that the house has been under offer for almost a week. Very businesslike but 'honesty' they don't know what it is.

After a few months, we discover that this is not the right intermediary in terms of a broker. No more contact and questions are answered moderately. We also find out that the basics are arranged just so-so. So I do not recommend Jan Leeuwis and Schreuder for your mortgage.

The most unprofessional company ever. The person who shows you around doesn't even know where they're going. If you find a property and make an offer, you hear nothing more, even though it's already been promised half a dozen times. And if you then want to rent, they only respond when they've had more viewings and start a bidding war. Money-eating cockroaches. But that's normal for all Dutch property seekers. Corrupt, money-eating monsters.
