De makelaar sprak de verwachting uit dat mijn huis binnen 2 weken zou worden verkocht voor een door hem vastgestelde prijs die goed overeenkwam met andere taxaties die ik had. Toen er na 2 weken op fund nog 0 (!) reacties waren werd dit geweten aan angst voor verdwijnen hypotheekrente aftrek. Het leek me altijd een sterk verhaal dat dan 100% van de kopers zich terug zouden trekken. Toen er na 6 weken nog niets gebeurd was heb ik erop aangedrongen de vraagprijs te verlagen omdat …

My nephew had an accepted offer on an apartment in Zeist. The first bidders hadn't secured their financing. Suddenly, just like that, a very disappointed nephew and a rather dubious sequence of events! I wonder if perhaps a higher offer came in from a third party... Makes no sense at all!!!
