Een nare ervaring met deze makelaars Ik raad je af om met ze in een andere taal dan Nederlands te praten, vooral niet met de makelaar van middelbare leeftijd, want ze zei expliciet: "Spreek geen Engels tegen me in mijn land." Ik woon helaas in dezelfde buurt als zij. Met mijn tweejarige baby liepen we over straat langs het kantoor van AB Makelaars. Mijn baby en ik praatten zachtjes. Omdat mijn baby graag op straat loopt, liepen we een paar keer langs hun deur. De makelaar kwam nerveus de deur uit en zei dat de ruimte privé was, dat ze vanwege ons niet met haar klant kon praten en dat we onmiddellijk moesten vertrekken. Omdat ik in het Engels antwoordde, zei ze dat ik in haar land geen Engels tegen haar mocht spreken. Nadat we een paar stappen hadden gezet, zette ze luid een plastic bord met het AB Makelaars-logo op de weg en zei dat we er niet langs mochten. Voor internationale mensen die van plan zijn contact op te nemen met AB Makelaars: wees je ervan bewust wat ze werkelijk van je denken, zelfs als ze je vriendelijk toelachen.
