Date unknownSaint Maartenszee was our vacation destination in August. However, the accommodation was absolutely terrible. We stayed at the otherwise beautiful holiday park Duinland. The Duinland 90 accommodation is absolutely not recommended! The backrest of the kitchen chair was stuck with tie-wraps. And this is a family accommodation. Safety for small children doesn't seem to check out!! Food remains in the kitchen cabinet. Socks from the previous tenant??? In one of the bedroom closets. Mattresses with yellow and brown stains. How can you rent something like this?? The bedrooms are far too narrow. The beds are placed so close to each other that no one can get to the bathroom at night without crawling over the footboard. Despite complaints, there seems to be no improvement. The complaint form on the aforementioned website is apparently outdated and doesn't work. Never again, especially because other reviews are also bad. The office should be banned! A pure money grab! Why the cleaning staff didn't notice these defects remains a mystery...

But: - The mentioned facilities include children's beds and a high chair, which then had to be booked for an additional fee. - The cleaning was just okay, nothing more. - The customer service is very unfriendly and not helpful. Because of a verifiable lack in the house (leaky windows, water infiltration) which we also had problems with, we have been having email arguments with the agent since then about the fact that we should have reported the lack via the app. An email with self-help is not welcome here. It's also getting very nasty quickly. A pity.

22 Sep 2025Absolutely unfriendly staff. I have rarely seen such unfriendly customer service. You don't feel welcome here. If you have questions, complaints or requests, you only get a nonsensical answer and nothing happens. The apartment was more dirty than clean. Of course there were no cleaning products. Booking here was a complete mistake; never again. This beautiful region unfortunately does not deserve this.

22 Sep 2025We tried to book a vacation here. Keizerskroon 58 would be the cottage. I booked and paid immediately, two days in a row. As soon as the first installment was refunded, I inquired what was going on. Only when the second installment was refunded did I receive a response. This contained no explanation for the refund or even an apology. Instead, I was asked to deposit the amount into another account. Immediately after that, on the same day, I received a payment reminder. I was surprised. I had not only paid, but I had also communicated. Subsequently, I canceled the vacation. That went completely smoothly. We want a relaxing vacation with two small children with disabilities. If so much goes wrong with the organization beforehand, what will it look like when we arrive? It’s a shame about the time lost on planning and such. We prefer to stick to our usual holiday accommodation.

22 Aug 2025One star for absolute customer hostility... Arrived yesterday at 2:30 PM, after the lunch break at the office. Not a single good day, no question about the journey, only an impolite 'You are far too early.' Ultimately, I was thankfully at the wrong office; I had made a mistake in the house number! A pity; last year the service staff were very friendly. The young lady this year doesn't seem to enjoy her job... Keep your eyes open when choosing a career.

22 Aug 2025We rented Buitenplaats 103 for the summer of 2024. It was far too expensive and the service was terrible. The campsite behind the house is very noisy until 1 to 2 am. When we arrived, the mattresses were still damp and sweaty, as were the bathrooms. It wasn't clean, it smelled unpleasant, the rooms were extremely warm, everything was very worn out and greasy, and there were mosquitoes everywhere. A beautiful throw, which we had forgotten, turned out to be missing.

22 Jul 2025We stayed 2 nights at De Vlijt on Texel and the location is absolutely pleasant: quietly situated, close to De Cocksdorp, and ideal for exploring Texel further. The studio was neatly, spaciously and practically furnished, and met our expectations in terms of basic amenities. What unfortunately disappointed us were a number of things you would not expect at this price level (220 euros per night). For example, we paid extra (30 euros per night) for a third bed, but it turned out to be a bed with an uncomfortable, poor mattress. Very unfortunate and disproportionate to the surcharge. In addition, our daughter was severely bitten by mosquitoes during her stay. There are no mosquito nets available, nor insect repellent or any form of prevention. When we reported this at the restaurant (which is connected to the accommodation), we were told that “the restaurant is separate from the studios”, with no empathy or solution. Upon contact with the host, we only heard that mosquito nets cannot be installed (yet), but that they are “working on it”.

22 Nov 2024We booked holiday home de Blenck 3 in Callantsoog. Unfortunately, it was a dilapidated and dirty house, and even the new bathrooms didn't help. A smelly drain in one bathroom and a plague of silverfish. The kitchen cabinets were dirty inside and out, the blinds were dirty and torn, etcetera. Rusty nails protruded from the garden fence, etcetera... I can’t even list everything. We filed a complaint with the local office and sent photos... but unfortunately, no response. First and last time we booked.

22 Nov 2024On July 16th last year, I booked and paid for accommodation via Booking.com with Callinghe holidays for the Vlijt First class studio’s in Texel for the period from August 30th last year to September 1st last year. Upon arrival on August 30th last year, it turned out that Callinghe holidays had cancelled my accommodation. It was stated that my reservation was an error booking. This meant for me that there was no booking, and therefore no accommodation. The amount of the accommodation was €249.50. My question to Callinghe holidays is can I receive my money as soon as possible, because I did not use the aforementioned accommodation. Callinghe holidays does not intend to refund my money. Why I do not know. I am no longer receiving a response from Callinghe holidays. I find this very customer unfriendly.

22 Nov 2024The apartment had serious defects and was in poor condition. There was no response to emails with complaints. A personal visit led to a friendly rejection. WhatsApp also offered me real help. Upon departure, I showed the numerous defects again through photos and received another friendly rejection: 'I will see what I can do for you' – namely nothing. We have had so many nice holidays and great accommodations in Julianadorp and Callantsoog, but De Wijde Blick 110 was by far the worst, the noisiest, above a delivery entrance on the main road with a bus stop. Our reserved parking space was available twice, with number , and the other owner complained. The parking space that actually belonged to the apartment was unusable because it was too narrow to get into, even with a small car. And I had specifically inquired about a few points before booking, otherwise I would have rented another property. I have rarely been so irritated, rarely given such a bad review, but here it is clear and demonstrably justified. Far too much money for a dilapidated apartment with countless damages and deficient service. Other holiday homes of other owners and rental companies in this large building are probably in much better condition, we got the impression. Other rental companies or landlords arrange it properly and don't just postpone it. Or they offer a voucher or something else for justified, multiple complaints. This was simply a ruined vacation. What a waste of money and precious holiday days.

Emails are answered quickly, phone calls are picked up and we receive good assistance. There is much contact between the manager and us as a board. We have regular contact with our relationship manager who is accessible. All in all, we are happy. We can therefore recommend Gewoon VvE Beheer.

12 Aug 2025When I had to move out of my old house, luckily I was able to get a new house through the housing mediator again. Thank you very much for this! Unfortunately, there are also some drawbacks. I have never received a final bill for gas and electricity from my old house since March 2023. Also, I've been trying to get my solar panels working for 3 months now. Every time they say they will look into it but so far it has not been resolved...

12 Feb 2025Last year we decided to switch to Gewoon VvE Beheer (GVB) with the Homeowners Association (HOA). The preparatory discussions went well, clear agreements were made. This concerned not only the agreements between the HOA and GVB, but also the communication between the old HOA manager and GVB. This proceeded to great satisfaction. The transition was smooth and, of course, there are various matters that require further attention, such as authorizations with the banks. This too has been resolved in good cooperation. GVB is very proactive in solving all sorts of problems at the complex and with the owners. In doing so, the board is kept well informed and consulted. Gewoon VvE Beheer handles the technical, administrative and financial management for our VvE. We are very happy with this collaboration and experience Gewoon VvE Beheer as an experienced and highly involved manager who quickly addresses and resolves issues. The communication between Gewoon VvE beheer and the board is also of a very good level. As far as we are concerned, it is recommended for every VvE looking for a new manager.

12 Nov 2024It is telling that this company has chosen the Night Watch as wallpaper design for their new office building. Because just like Rembrandt's masterpiece broke with the artistic conventions of his time, the Huurwoningbemiddelaars have no qualms about violating the provisions in their own contracts – especially when it comes to returning deposits. After we recently rented an apartment from them, my wife and I recently moved and handed over the apartment in excellent condition, as they confirmed in the handover protocol. Moreover, we never had any rent arrears and submitted all the documents in good order that they deemed necessary to return our deposit. They confirmed this in writing and promised to refund the money. However, it has been more than 9 weeks since we received confirmation and more than 10 weeks after the end of the rental agreement, and we still have not received our deposit back. We sent them multiple reminders and notices of default more than two weeks ago, but I suspect that Martijn Valk thinks he can keep our money because we have moved abroad. This will force us to take legal action against them. Unless you want your rightfully earned money to be invested in a shiny neon light or a coffee maker in their new, chic office building, I advise everyone who is considering doing business with the Huurwoningbemiddelaar to AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS!

Date unknownThe critical reviews are simply removed. So here's a small update. While searching, they seem to think with you until you find a house. From that moment on, the service is very mediocre. If you need them, they don't come or respond very late or not at all, and ultimately nothing happens. Until you haven’t paid, then they are at your door within 2 days. It's just that I was in housing emergency and had no other choice; otherwise, I definitely wouldn't have chosen them. They claimed the problems I experienced were due to the landlord, which may well be true, but to resolve it, they do very little in my opinion.

Of course, this comes with a cost, but that's a choice you make and they are very transparent about it. I dare to say 100% that I would do it again. Buying a house is not just something, there's a lot to consider and for every question we had, there was almost 24x7 an answer found via a whatsapp group where several employees of Fly Schagen were present. During a meeting during an inspection, they think about things you yourself don't even think of. Kitchen drawers, cabinets and doors are opened with a very critical eye while you yourself are only surprised by how beautiful the floor is. I can recommend Fly Schagen for all your property purchases. The communication is very simple and you are dealing with people who know what they're talking about. Is your fixed real estate agent on vacation? Then you get a colleague assigned to you directly who speaks exactly the same language. 5/5 stars for this party. I am now the happy owner of a new home thanks to Fly Schagen.

05 Oct 2025We came across Fly Real Estate through a new construction project they were selling. Here, we were assigned agent Tygo. Although that project did not work out for us, we stayed with him because he advised us honestly and transparently from the start. Tygo is an incredibly enthusiastic and competent real estate agent. He helped us tremendously in finding a home and selling my partner’s apartment. The communication was always easy: Tygo is very reachable and thinks along with you. Even on his free evenings or weekends, he goes out of his way for you. We as a couple sometimes have somewhat peculiar, sarcastic humor, but that was fortunately no problem with Tygo. Despite him taking his work very seriously and professionally, there’s always room for a joke. This makes the search for a new home and viewings light-hearted and enjoyable. The communication within Fly Real Estate is incredibly fast; if Tygo wasn’t available, one of his colleagues would respond almost immediately and take up our question. If we ever sell or buy another house again, we will definitely approach Fly Real Estate.

Date unknownHouse purchased with SC Bakker as the selling agency. House purchased and at the transfer, only 1 key was handed over. After returning from the notary and not being able to find the remaining keys in the house, I contacted the relevant party. It was stated that these keys were not present during the viewing. Strange because Wooncompagnie always installs new cylinder locks in the doors when a tenant moves out. But I also can't recall that myself. After some inquiries with my lawyer and a friend realtor, I formally notified Bakker in writing by phone. Two days later, when Bakker still refused to provide a locksmith or hand over the keys to me, I informed Bakker makelaardij that I was done with it and would officially notify them of default and that all additional costs would be recovered from them. You won't believe it but magically, the keys were suddenly present within 30 minutes, still in possession of Wooncompagnie. They delivered the keys to me that afternoon. In short, if you want lies and deceit, then you should do business with this party.
