After weeks of browsing Funda, we dared to take our first viewing… a beautiful old farmhouse in Zuidwolde. We received a very pleasant tour with lots of explanation from Frank van Osch, the selling real estate agent. Regarding the purchase, we were not the lucky ones, but we did have a good feeling about the area and then decided to place a search assignment with Frank. We also continued searching via Funda… it wasn't long before we hit the jackpot (beautiful location in Dedemsvaart), and we asked Frank to further assist us with the purchase, given that we were acting more or less as if we were going to buy bread ;-) Due to his thorough check and a number of very valuable changes in the draft purchase agreement, we confidently closed the deal.
