An appointment for a viewing was made, which also included a confirmation, but unfortunately the agent did not show up at the agreed time. After we called to inquire about the agent's whereabouts, we received a response from the brokerage that left us completely astonished. 28 Nov 2025Scammers! Do thorough research when you go into the deal as a buying party with this real estate agent. We recently bought a house where the cadastral data did not match. (I'm talking about a considerable number of square meters here!) According to our new neighbors (multiple people) this real estate agent was aware of this, but it was NOT communicated to us. In fact, on paper it was stated that the cadastral data did match. During the key handover, there were already vague hints, now it turns out why. It's really nice to move into a new house and start a feud with the neighbors! It could have been communicated properly, and this could have been prevented. Money is again for everything here!

However, they didn't show up on Thursday. So I called Friday morning to see what was going on. The man who answered the phone was in the car and promised to call back as soon as he was at the office to still fulfill the appointment. Now 1.5 months later, he still has to call back.....

Hello Robert. As I explained before, we are generally not allowed to perform valuations of your old home because we arranged the valuation of your new home. During the valuation, we are explicitly asked whether we were involved in the assessment of your existing property. The fact that you would no longer be impartial could cause the current valuation to become unusable, and that is certainly not the intention. I hope you will sell the current property smoothly. 19 Jan 2021Had an appraisal carried out for the valuation of a new-build property. The value was determined, however based on a quote from the construction company. For this, 550 euros was charged. Later it turned out that this valuation was too superficial. The bank did not agree with this method of valuation. Recently I confronted the real estate agent about this and his statement was 'I have done my job and if the report is unusable, that's a shame'. This realtor seems friendly, but when I asked critical questions he became grumpy and always passed the ball back to me. Apparently money is more important.
