09 Oct 2025During a viewing, Judith from Optima was the selling agent. We were treated very politely; moreover, she had her knowledge in order and could answer most of our questions. You would think that is normal, but after having looked at many houses and spoken to various agents, it turns out this is not so self-evident. Her open and non-intrusive way of working made us decide to contact Judith as a buying agent, who then helped us throughout the process. During this period, she was always available to answer questions and often accompanied us on viewings. She has incredible patience! After a relatively long time, due to our rather picky nature, we found our dream home and were well guided through the purchase process. Our house also needed to be sold; the Optima team provided excellent assistance with that as well. The consultation mostly went directly via WhatsApp for adjusting texts, evaluating photos, and scheduling viewings, which made everything run smoothly and quickly. And in the end, Rick and Judith ensured our house was sold swiftly and once again guided us through the rest of the process!

He has a warm, relaxed way of communicating which makes you feel at ease immediately, as if you are speaking with someone you have known for a longer time. What surprised us enormously positively was how well he had prepared himself in just one day. In that short time, he had carefully gone through all the documents and immediately noted attention points and questions for us. That clearly showed that he is not only knowledgeable, but also thinks with us with genuine attention, involvement and passion for his profession. In addition, he took all the time for us and remained incredibly friendly and approachable throughout the entire conversation. His warm and clear way of communicating created a relaxed atmosphere and a feeling of familiarity. He took all the time, without any rush, and remained incredibly friendly and approachable. His way of communicating was warm, clear and open, which made the entire viewing pleasant and relaxed. It gave us a feeling of familiarity that he was really standing by our side and looking out for us. 11 Nov 2025We have known Barry van der Heijden for a long time as a real estate agent. In the past, he has acted as our purchase agent and sales agent to our full satisfaction. For us, the reason to ask Barry in the spring of 2025 to act as a real estate agent at Remax to sell our house. Already in our first conversation, he met our expectations as an agent. With a lot of knowledge of the market, our neighborhood Bangert and Oosterpolder and listening to our wishes, he knew exactly what we as the selling party were looking for. When we started the phase of taking photos, he came by in advance to advise us on small things in the house to make the house sale-ready and attractive. When taking the photos, he was also present to give any guidance. Later there was also a video, again showing a lot of attention to detail. In September our house came onto the market and there too, our expectations were met again immediately. Viewers and offers followed very quickly. That was quite exciting, but we were well guided and advised by Barry in considering the offers in combination with the right conditions for us. It was nice that we could rely on Barry's expertise to ultimately accept the best offer (price and conditions) after 8 days, sign the preliminary sales agreement and finally this week, after confirmation of financing by the buyers, officially sell the house. Barry is very professional, fluent and pleasant in communication and interaction, clear and precise and clearly fighting for us as the selling party. 11 Oct 2025I would like to compliment the real estate agents at RE/MAX along this route, particularly Tim van der Kruit and Marco Jonk, for their expert information regarding a free valuation on appraisal day (which ultimately took place last Thursday). Marco did this for me last year, and I followed up with Tim this year. I wanted to know how the market developed specifically for our house over the past year. Both were extremely knowledgeable and relevant, as it turned out that the conversation with Tim mirrored exactly what happened with Marco last year, and they also complemented each other very well. There was no immediate financial gain at first, but both meetings resulted in a professional-looking, documented report. Tim did not know about Marco's visit last year, but it quickly became clear that he operates on the same wavelength as Marco!! For this I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks, because they have been of great help to me.
