Even if the process had not been completed, a simple update or a polite message would have been appropriate, especially after requesting and receiving very sensitive personal documents. Silence is unacceptable in a professional rental process. As for personal data, your answer remains unclear. According to the GDPR people have the right to request deletion of their personal data. That I am told my data will remain stored raises justified questions, regardless of internal policy. Transparency is essential here and it was lacking in this case. Moreover, the request to contact you directly does not solve the broader issue. Calling or discussing this further changes nothing about the reality many applicants are confronted with - including the feeling that some candidates, despite meeting all requirements, are consistently overlooked without explanation. As a Romanian applicant the lack of transparency and feedback only strengthens this concern, intentionally or not. Although you state that the process is based on objective criteria, the absence of feedback or explanation leaves applicants in uncertainty and doubt. A more transparent and communicative approach would help prevent such situations. I appreciate your response, but my experience remains unchanged: poor communication, lack of transparency and insufficient clarity regarding the processing of personal data.
