Ik heb een zeer teleurstellende ervaring gehad met Lightcity Eindhoven. Ik bezocht een woning in Veldhoven, waarna mijn partner en ik werden gevraagd om gevoelige documenten te overleggen, waaronder loonstroken en identiteitsbewijzen. We hebben alles te goeder trouw en volledig ingediend. Vervolgens nam ik contact op met het makelaarskantoor voor een update en werd mij verteld dat onze documenten naar de eigenaar waren gestuurd en dat we op de hoogte zouden worden gesteld van de beslissing. We hebben echter nooit een reactie ontvangen en later ontdekten we dat de woning al was verhuurd zonder enige mededeling van hun kant. Ik vind dit volledige gebrek aan communicatie zeer onprofessioneel, zeker gezien de gevoelige persoonsgegevens die werden opgevraagd. Bovendien werd mij, toen ik verzocht om verwijdering van onze persoonsgegevens, meegedeeld dat deze in hun systeem zouden blijven staan. Dit roept ernstige vragen op met betrekking tot de naleving van de AVG, aangezien persoonsgegevens alleen bewaard mogen worden zolang als nodig is en voor een duidelijk omschreven doel.
