I had a very unpleasant experience with this real estate agent. During the viewing, the agent acted distantly and pretended to be a substitute. He thought I wasn't from around here but I knew he was the owner of the brokerage office. It created the impression that he consciously adopted a different attitude in order to compensate for the lack of information and involvement during the viewing. He didn’t walk through the house, couldn’t answer any substantive questions, and imposed clear restrictions: no photos were allowed, not even of the toilet, and opening doors was not permitted. The atmosphere was rushed and intrusive, with a strong emphasis on speed instead of carefulness. I also found the way of working around the bidding process far from transparent. Several times I had to chase after basic information myself, and by phone, a strong impression was given that there were already many bids. Ultimately, it turned out that only one other bid had been submitted. This creates the impression that buyers are unnecessarily pressured to bid higher — something that may be beneficial for sellers, but is downright annoying for buyers. What struck me most is that this way of working strongly deviates from the experiences I have had with other real estate agents in the region, where honesty, openness and respectful communication are a matter of course. Finally, I think it’s important to mention that in the bid log, the full names of both buyer and bidder were listed. That seems to me to be in conflict with AVG legislation and simply shouldn't happen. Sharing personal data in this way should really be taken seriously.

My dream house/renovation project was for sale at Vader Makelaardij. I showed my interest through the contact form, after which I was quickly called back and an appointment was made for a viewing. I thought this could possibly become my new palace. How, in this overheated housing buying and selling time, the process worked, I didn't know exactly. Procedures were explained step by step, which is very important and easy for a novice. This resulted in me now being the proud owner. Thank you

Very disappointing experience with Vader Makelaardij – absolutely not recommended Our first house (unfortunately) purchased through Jan-Kees Vader. Buying a house should be an important point in your life and also bring something festive, but thanks to Jan-Kees it became a nightmare for us. Our experience with Vader Makelaardij as buyers was downright disappointing. From the beginning we were poorly received by Jan-Kees and did not receive sufficient guidance during the purchase process. Several appointments were made, but these were regularly not kept. When we inquired about this, excuses and lame excuses followed instead of a professional approach. The low point was that we ultimately had to involve the Vereniging van Eigen Huis (Homeowners Association), because Vader Makelaardij refused to provide certain essential documents. Only after intervention by the Vereniging van Eigen Huis, which fully supported us, were these documents provided. Until then, communication from Vader Makelaardij remained largely absent, causing us as buyers to be in uncertainty and even jeopardized the sale. This approach demonstrates a lack of professionalism and reliability. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Vader Makelaardij.

Real estate agent with a lot of knowledge and experience in West-Brabant. Knows the market well, and gives the right advice. In the negative reactions that are written, we cannot recognize ourselves. In 1992 FATHER sold our first home, with knowledge regarding. In 2019 this real estate agent sold our current home again, with the same knowledge and even more experience. Keeps appointments, and doesn't beat around the bush. Gives you sound advice about expectation deadlines and prospective buyers. In short, with this real estate agent you have no hassle, and can relax while looking forward to a transparent collaboration.

Jan Kees or Kees Jan is by far one of the biggest smooth talkers and swindlers I have ever experienced. Is only my opinion and not a fact. A sold-off endowment policy? He knows everything about it, that's my opinion. Never do business with this shop. It’s bad for your own future.

As a king on his throne, it seems that the world revolves around Mr. Father. We apparently had a difficult-to-sell house, but in my opinion, the realtor could have done more. Good photos were taken, but a floor plan of the property was never placed. Fortunately, we could go elsewhere for questions because you don't learn much from Father. That is strange because we were indeed a paying customer. The final buyer also indicated to us that they were not entirely satisfied with the viewing and the course of events during the purchase. Furthermore, it will certainly not be the intention of Mr. Father, but he comes across as very 'gruff'. I can imagine that this could be experienced as intimidating by some people.
