Today I went to an open house viewing of a new construction project, at least that was the intention. Upon arriving at the address from the Funda advertisement, I saw no house. I called the real estate agent to ask where I should go. He himself was not familiar with the object and instructed me to pass on my contact details to his colleague who is on location. It is now 2 hours later and I have still not been called! I find this really not nice.

Het slechtste makelaarskantoor dat ik ooit heb gezien. Volkomen incompetent, onbeschoft en nalatig. Ik ben verbaasd dat ze nog niet failliet zijn verklaard. Fréderique Luikinga was de makelaar die voor ons appartement was aangesteld en zij en haar team zijn volkomen incompetent. Ze hebben bij elke stap een onvoorstelbaar aantal fouten gemaakt, maar nooit iets gedaan om hun excuses aan te bieden of de situatie recht te zetten. Frederique was te laat voor de bezichtiging, dus de huurder liet ons het appartement zien. Toen we het appartement betrokken, was het helemaal smerig. Bosch & Duyn had de schoonmaak overgeslagen. Overal zaten vlekken, waaronder etensvlekken op de aanrechtbladen. Er lag ook afval op de grond. Toen we Frederique over de schoonmaakproblemen vertelden, schreeuwde ze tegen ons aan de telefoon: "Als de staat jullie niet bevalt, geven we het appartement aan iemand anders." Toen gaven ze ons het contract, maar daar stonden veel typefouten en andere fouten in. Ze hadden zelfs onze namen verkeerd gespeld. We ontdekten de fouten en meldden ze, maar slechts enkele werden hersteld. Ze moesten het contract vijf keer corrigeren in een aantal weken nadat we waren ingetrokken, en zelfs daarna waren er aan het eind nog steeds fouten. En ze hebben ons een deel van de wettelijk verplichte documenten niet verstrekt, ondanks dat we er herhaaldelijk om hadden gevraagd. Nu hadden we problemen met de nutsvoorzieningen. We wisten niet dat er een probleem was, maar het bleek dat Frederique twee weken geleden een brief van het nutsbedrijf had ontvangen, maar pas twee weken later, de dag voordat het nutsbedrijf ons een boete zou geven, iets liet weten. Frederique zou onmiddellijk ontslagen moeten worden, want ze is een lastpost en over het algemeen gewoon een vreselijk mens. Weg ermee.

Waardeloos. Telefonisch de nodige vragen beantwoord waaruit bleek dat de woning geschikt zou zijn. Aangekomen bij de woning blijkt de huidige bewoner (nog) aanwezig te zijn en ons al een halve rondleiding te geven, prima. Afspraak om 16:00 met de makelaar, komt om 16:05 aanzetten en leidt vervolgens niet rond, maar overhandigt een brochure die ik eerder deze week al op de website gevonden had. Vertelt niks over de woning en dan gaat om 16:10 de bel: een volgende bezichtiging. Niet aan ons gecommuniceerd en we worden eigenlijk naar de voordeur geduwd om plaats te maken voor de volgende afspraak. Wat een blamage. Om nog niet te spreken over alle andere additionele regels die niet op Funda gemeld worden, maar zeker relevant zijn voor een huurder.
