23 Feb 2025My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lisette Van Tilburg as our realtor for our recent home purchase. We came to Lisette in a difficult situation: we needed a house as quickly as possible, because our rental contract expired in two months and we couldn't go anywhere else afterwards. Lisette was clear that it would be a challenging task, especially given the crazy housing market in Amsterdam, but ultimately she more than delivered. Throughout the entire purchasing process, she expertly guided us, from viewings and appraisals to making an offer and the transfer of ownership. As first-time buyers and expats, we had many questions and Lisette was always willing to answer them. We especially appreciated her quick communication. We also felt that she always had our best interests at heart and was never pressured to make bids that didn't make sense for us. Ultimately, our initial offer was accepted after some back and forth with the seller and we bought the perfect starter home for us in just under 7 weeks from our first meeting with Lisette. This despite a problem with our mortgage provider, which she handled as a true professional. For what it's worth: our house was also valued higher than we paid, so the immediate equity gave us the feeling that we had made a good deal. We still can’t believe she could realize this home purchase so quickly and are enormously grateful for her expertise and guidance. A real recommendation!

08 Oct 2025What a great real estate agent we had with Richard. Where he did everything to make the buyer happy, they turned out to be never enough. We opened our home three times for these people. Three times with experts. After we indicated that we would no longer set a price, they started to hassle Richard and his office with the most bizarre questions. Also, they lowered the purchase amount at the very last moment.

08 Oct 2025We bought a house where Richard was the selling agent. During the first viewing we only had 15 minutes because the next one was already waiting outside in the rain. Also during the viewing it was said that there would be a permit for a garage which later turned out not to be the case. Replacing most of the thatched roof was promised to be much cheaper than it turned out to be. During the inspection on the day of purchase, he behaved like a jerk. Maximum 15 minutes for the inspection, reacting distantly to the fact that the previous occupants had left the house dirty and with a lot of junk. When we were at the notary, he did not congratulate us or greet us when he left. What a guy! And for example not reacting to the question why there was tape on a radiator knob, which turned out to be broken. Definitely not a recommendation!! Also bad reaction to questions from our buying agent, for example about the fact that the previous occupants had taken 6-10 bushes from the garden, which is officially not allowed!

However, we would like to clarify a few points: - it was agreed in the purchase contract that some shrubs would be taken by the sellers. This has been fully carried out according to the agreement. - you had multiple access to the property before the purchase and handover. There was a purchasing agent and a structural engineer present. You were also present here. - during the viewing, they spoke about the existing carport, not a garage. - there was a correction to the purchase price when it turned out that the rafter's statement was outdated. - I handed over the key for the handover to the notary, and the celebration after the handover is for the music to play. In Drenthe, the word 'moi' is a greeting. We find it important to work carefully and transparently, and we regret that you have experienced this differently. With kind regards Richard Zwiers

What I find a pity is that real estate agents generally do little for buyers when there are holidays or special days. Many people specifically want to come on an Easter day or a Saturday. Why not take an extra step if you own your own company. No collective labor agreement restrictions. Another point is that the brokerage fees in rural areas are clearly higher than in urban areas.

The strange thing is that after two weeks they still needed additional information. It concerned two house numbers, which they had also merged into 1 report. As far as we are concerned, no recommendation for this company.

04 Sep 2024You can expect a realistic view of the housing market and practical advice from Jannie Keizer and her colleagues. Like a tiger, Jannie strives to get the best out of a sale. The nice thing is that there are no barriers to asking or submitting anything to Jannie or the employees. A downside was that some appointments, such as callbacks, sometimes got lost in translation, but it was also a hectic time, because our house was sold within 14 days.

In both cases, this was successfully completed within two weeks thanks to my real estate agent Marc Boerma. He is warm and understanding in his interactions and works expertly, efficiently, and quickly when buying and selling. He collaborated on a good coordination between the purchase and sale of the homes. The support from the staff at the office also went flawlessly, because they work quickly and professionally processing all documents, and communication about them takes place in a very friendly manner. Unfortunately, the buyers didn't deliver! But Shanice remained positive and after a week we had a new buyer and a good offer! And our house was definitively sold! Young lady but very professional! Date unknownDo not do business with them... Roozeboom was recently hired as the selling agent in the sale of a house. They were informed from the beginning about a dangerous situation around that house, but they completely dismissed it. Subsequently, they knowingly misled the buyer about that situation. After the buyer complained about this (after the purchase), the response was 'you have a duty to investigate'. Because everything about this is in writing, Roozeboom has made herself and especially her client (the seller) legally vulnerable.

Date unknownUnfortunately, made appointments were not kept. As an example, the previously agreed price agreement resulted in an amount upon appraisal. We had to wait a long time for appraisals; when we asked again where the appraisals were, Mrs. suddenly stated that she was still waiting for rental agreements from us. It would have been helpful if she had asked for this earlier, instead of pretending she was working on the appraisals. Moreover, the deadline she mentioned had already passed, and we were waiting for nothing. She also indicated beforehand that she could perform a certain appraisal for €250 extra, which suddenly became impossible after our agreement. In short; never again Rozeboom for us. Response to Rozeboom's reaction; Understandable that you need all the documents. However, it would have been helpful if you had informed us about what you still needed. You made it seem as if you would have it ready by the deadline, only when we contacted you did you start talking about the missing items. It seemed more efficient to us if you had contacted us when there was a lack of documents. When you cannot perform an assignment, it is nice for the customer when you indicate this in advance. In this case, you first made an appointment with us (you were aware of the situation), then after agreement you stated that you could not carry it out. This has cost us valuable time. Again, as described above, these are just a few examples. We tried to have a conversation about the things we ran into during our contact, unfortunately this turned out to be impossible. First of all, thank you for your review Claudia, it's unfortunate to hear that you experienced our service in this way. Unfortunately, for the speedy and correct processing of reports, we require access to (all) properties for inspection and indeed, the correct documents regarding the objects. Because we did not have access to one of the complexes due to the landlord being on vacation and were awaiting all the correct rental information, we were unable to act as quickly as our average, fast turnaround times. A split was subsequently requested regarding the value of a complex, but other rental income data was sent with it than that received from the selling broker at the time. Because we want to deliver work that is qualitative and reliable according to NVM guidelines, we unfortunately had to decline this assignment. We would of course like to explain things further over a cup of coffee; you are always welcome to come and discuss matters at our office, and we regret that this has resulted in your experience with us being less than desired.
