He stated that he normally 'only deals with the higher segment' and therefore apparently felt too good for the 200K property we were opting for. Had Groenhout Makelaars not been involved, our purchase would have proceeded more pleasantly and easily. Edit: I just read the things that the poster below me posted 2 months after me: Very recognizable, our house was listed on the internet as being in good condition (except for the kitchen), but actually everything (really everything) needs to be replaced. A very unreliable and unfair realtor.

Date unknownVery disappointed in this realtor. Pieter sold us the property and withheld a lot of information. As a result, we were confronted with large, high, and unexpected costs. They do rake in the money, but don't work on a solution. Only when a bad review is posted do they react. Again very disappointed. A meeting is now proposed, but during the period when complaints rained down, it was 'not home'. You should be ashamed of how you treat customers. Just sent the people for the maintenance and repair of the plastic window frames and doors away. Again a post of over 6000 euros where we were not made aware. A viewing of just under 20 minutes and then increasing the pressure. We are sick of being completely boxed in here. A young house of 10 years says nothing.

04 Sep 2024You can expect a realistic view of the housing market and practical advice from Jannie Keizer and her colleagues. Like a tiger, Jannie strives to get the best out of a sale. The nice thing is that there are no barriers to asking or submitting anything to Jannie or the employees. A downside was that some appointments, such as callbacks, sometimes got lost in translation, but it was also a hectic time, because our house was sold within 14 days.

Steenhuis was responsible for taking photos, determining the rent price, listing on Funda, screening tenants, drafting the lease agreement, and conducting the initial inspection. I had several viewings with the agent where we discussed how well the houses matched my wishes and received tips about the houses and their locations. The agent was always reachable and willing to think along. Buying at an auction remains a feeling of the buyer and what the house is worth to the buyer (how high do you want to bid for more certainty that you will get the house...)

The expectations were high as we consciously chose this office because it is known as one of the best real estate agencies in the region. Unfortunately, that reputation was not upheld for us. The guidance fell far short of what had been promised beforehand. Instead of being taken care of, we had to do a lot ourselves, such as writing the Funda text and other important aspects of the sales process. Ultimately, we largely had to handle the sale ourselves, which is not what you expect from a professional real estate agency. Afterward, I had a conversation with the agent Wouter over a cup of coffee. To my surprise, he stated that everything had gone perfectly fine. That lack of self-reflection and failure to acknowledge how the process was for us, found me disappointing and unfortunately also typical of our cooperation. We had hoped for professional support and personal involvement, but felt left to our own devices most of all. In our opinion, not recommended.

Leonie is truly an excellent employee who works hard, thinks along well and always looks for solutions. After a few conversations, when we thought we would be looking for a house for quite some time. That turned out to be different thanks to her hard work and attentiveness; we found our first home within 2 weeks!! We naturally only have praise for this experience.
