Had an unpleasant experience with the purchase of a home through real estate agent Roan Mulderij. Roan appears to be familiar as he claims to have a 'duty of care' towards the buyer when there is an issue with a home he sells. If you approach Roan after the purchase and make a claim against his duty of care, he disclaims it. This is a response to the story of Roan Mulderij. Once again, Roan tries to wash his hands of the matter and conceal his shortcomings. He limits his story to only a non-functioning water heater that I as the buyer did indeed report. This is just one point of what is all handled incorrectly by Roan Mulderij. I can give future buyers of a home in which Roan acted as the selling agent the following advice. If there are one or more items not in order during a final inspection, then never sign the form. Postpone the transfer of the home at the notary if necessary. Let the seller first solve his problems. Do not go along with lies or empty promises from this agent.
