What started as an informal conversation ended up being a whirlwind. Two weeks after we had an informal conversation about selling our house, we found our new home on funda. A day after I had accepted a nice offer on my house, I was working in my garden and heard someone say on the street: 'see, this house doesn't have a dormer window'. I immediately got a bad feeling and indeed my realtor called that the buyers were withdrawing the offer and making a lower offer. The voice on the street turned out to be Mrs. Mooij. There was no more room for negotiation, it was swallow or choke. That was obviously misjudged in this market: I had more bids and didn't want to deny these buyers anymore. The house is now sold perfectly well. Moreover, my neighbors with dormer windows have a house that is 30,000 euros more expensive and the lack of a dormer window was clearly evident during the viewing. Regarding judgment and politeness, this wasn't a good showing for this realtor!

We had chosen this real estate agent for the sale of our apartment due to the good reviews. Unfortunately, not all of our experiences were positive. On a certain day, there were too many viewers booked at the same time within a short period, with insufficient staffing/supervision from Mooij. Afterwards, I noticed that my cupboards had been looked into (and these were not items of furniture left behind), which I found very unpleasant. I had just expressed my concerns beforehand. Many items that were in plain sight had also already been removed. It also happened that an appointment for a viewing was made and no one from Mooij was present at that time, and they were unreachable by phone for a long time. Ultimately, I myself had to conduct the viewing with an interested buyer.
