Overall, we are very satisfied with Lauteslager. Our realtor, Maud, helped us win the bidding process in our very first attempt! The process was quick and results-oriented and we are very happy with our purchase. As international starters regarding mortgages, however, we advise others to carefully monitor all clauses in the sale/purchase agreement, especially those relating to the financial guarantee (if applicable), as this can be a deductible for the buyer if something goes wrong during the mortgage approval process. Furthermore, Maud proved to be very good at communicating with all stakeholders involved in the process (the financial advisor and the sell-side realtor). We are happy with our new house!

Selling a house is always exciting, especially if it's the first time. We were very well guided by Maud and her team. For the second time, we have sold our house through Lauteslager and for the second time, Robert Dunning was the realtor who did this for us. If Robert comes to talk to you about selling, he has done good preliminary research on houses sold in the neighborhood where you live and also honestly shares his experience with houses sold by Lauteslager in the neighborhood where you live. He also comes with a good and well-thought-out proposal for the asking price. Robert is always very accessible during the sales process. If he can't answer, he usually picks up and says he will call you back later. Very nice! After a viewing, he immediately follows up and gives his expectations as well. Depending on how the viewings go, he determines how the sale takes place: negotiating directly with bids or by registration. Then it is very nice that Robert comes with a proposal, thinks along with you, and keeps his head cool when things get exciting, and is also honest to potential buyers. He acts quickly then! It is sometimes said about realtors that they are not trustworthy. That is absolutely not the case with Robert. He is honest, clear and open. Also towards potential buyers! This is how I am too, and I greatly appreciate it in him! The staff at the Lauteslager office also do a good job. Arranging for the photographer to come quickly, creating a good text for Funda, and always acting quickly when you call with a question or request! Our hope for a nice purchase apartment in Utrecht city has now faded. That certainly isn’t due to Daniël, but rather the crazy housing market in Utrecht. It was an incredibly difficult journey in a challenging market to sell an unusual property. And yes: not everything went well and we offered it for sale on Funda three times in consultation. Ultimately, after 1.5 years, we managed to find the right buyer (or the right buyer found my house anyway :) and through ultimately good cooperation, successfully sold. So I think the ultimate result is good, the road to get there was challenging.
