During the viewing last week at a house in Groenekan, we had to deal with a not very enthusiastic real estate agent, despite our great interest in the house. It was the first day of the viewings and you would expect an agent who does his best. We immediately made an appointment for a second viewing and making a good offer. A day later we were already called that the house had been sold, while viewings were planned throughout the week. This seems unreliable and feels like a deal between agents themselves. And thus a pointless viewing for form's sake. Bad for both the buyer and seller. We have contacted the real estate agent about what happened and were supposed to be called back. Nothing heard from them to date.

Mixed bag. If you encounter this, please work with Ben or Wilco. Our realtor (named Chantal) was rude, unprofessional and unable to answer fundamental questions about the house that we bought.

When selling our house, we were perfectly helped from the first introduction to the transfer at the notary's office. I don't need to mention specific names because both the external and internal staff knew the file, knew what they were talking about, and were aware of all the details in the process. For now, we haven't found the house and have stopped searching - we were looking for houses up to 700k (we usually visit around Leidsche Rijn, Vleuten and Houten noted from 500k to 580k). Often we weren’t willing to bid enough - honestly, the houses aren't worth taking out a mortgage of more than 550,000 euros plus savings. When we bid on the few that we liked, we still didn’t get them - often we bid something less than 100,000 more. Search query changed to renting. Contact with the real estate agent went smoothly, and responses were quick when questions arose. However, there were some comments regarding the accuracy of the administrative employee(s). We had to request multiple adjustments to texts and drawings because they were not implemented correctly.

Well helped with the purchase of our house, Lauteslager ensured that this went smoothly without any stress. Easily accessible, even on weekends, for the entire process from bidding to handling the purchase contract. Tip we want to share: a stepped commission based on the number of viewings would give a better price/quality score given our low number of viewings.

Don't trust this realtor! We had a terrible experience. He made countless promises, but when the sale actually started, he went back on them all. Constant errors: incorrect square meters, wrong number of rooms, weeks of delay in listing on Funda, no communication, especially on bidding day. He even refused to act on an offer we were interested in, simply because he thought it was too low. This led to a lot of stress, frustration and ultimately significant financial loss. We had to fire him and eventually sold the house with a new realtor. We are now happy in our new home. Don't fall for his smooth talk: avoid Arjan! And a warning: many reviews here are older than 4 months. His company didn’t even exist then, which proves that he makes everything up. Be smart. Stay away!
