10 Nov 2024We had a great experience with Schreuder Makelaars and appreciate their service in the current tight housing market situation. I can wholeheartedly recommend our real estate agent Stephan de Poel. For more than 3 months of actively searching and house hunting, we received full assistance with all matters: booking/canceling viewings, contacting sellers, inspecting houses, market analysis, bidding, drafting the deed, and etc. Other supporting staff were also always courteous, responded quickly via email or WhatsUp, and generally very kind, regardless of the questions we asked. The price is well justified, as it does not change with the number of visits/bids (of which we had many) until you have the reassuring house.

30 Sep 2024Wednesday 25 Sept called for viewing appointment, this really couldn't happen any sooner than Monday 30 Sept. Not a problem in itself because I was told the house was available! meaning: so no verbal or written agreements with third parties.. Suddenly I was called on Saturday the 28th of September by Bauke that the house we wanted to view had been sold???!! After asking Bauke a few questions, it turned out that a viewing had been scheduled in between (who also had submitted a bid). All this while we absolutely couldn't have gone until Monday the 30th?! The house was 'available', the real estate agent told me. I got the strong impression that my questions were not appreciated.. the only thing I heard was, what do you want to hear from me?, and what do you want me to say? And additionally, the sale of the house where they lived for over 40 years. Hats off to the way she did that! My in-laws are getting older and could no longer do it themselves due to health problems. She kept us well informed throughout the entire process and was always on time for appointments. She thought along with the process and informed us well. She was accessible for all questions throughout the entire process and she was flexible. She did all of this in a very pleasant way with much respect and patience.
