Great help from Pieter and colleagues. Plan Makelaars offers customized service and pays attention to the client. We had a rather specific search picture, but with the help of Pieter's sharp eye, the useful sparring sessions and the quick switching of his team, we found the house that suits us, exactly in our dream location. The sale was also taken care of by Pieter and his team. We received good tips on how to present our home as well as possible. With a sold property and a satisfied seller (us) as the end result. Absolutely recommended! I have worked intensively with Pieter and his team for the past few weeks and it has been very positive. He knows what he's talking about, knows the entire city like the back of his hand and has contacts everywhere. He does everything to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible and that just works really well. What I found particularly pleasant was the feeling of having someone truly on your side and genuinely advocating for your interests. To be honest, I found the whole process quite exciting at times (choosing a house, bidding, arranging a mortgage) and when someone thinks along with you in a sober and structured way, that is priceless. The only thing I would do differently next time is to choose the mortgage advisor that Pieter works closely with. Then the lines are shorter and that's important because arranging a mortgage has to be done within a certain timeframe and you don’t want it to go wrong there. Pieter and Zahra, thank you for your help and until next time!

RECOMMENDATION! After trying to buy a house ourselves for a while, we eventually engaged Plan Makelaars to help with a purchase. Our offers were repeatedly rejected (while we thought we were already overbidding quite a bit). Very frustrating, so we started looking for help. After engaging Plan, we hit the jackpot in one go! Finally, we bought a house. The communication is accessible, fast and friendly. Even after the purchase, you are very well assisted during every step, they even come along with the key transfer!

Be careful, I have had a lot of problems with this company. We filed an official complaint with the nvm. Incorrect names in the report, which we had to wait almost 4 weeks for, sloppy work and very low valuation amounts. We lost a lot of money and due to their actions our purchase did not go through. I also relied on the reviews, but I wonder if they are even legitimate.

We had a great experience with Schreuder Makelaars and appreciate their service in the current tight housing market situation. I can wholeheartedly recommend our realtor Stephan de Poel. For more than 3 months of actively searching and house hunting, we received full assistance with all matters: booking/canceling viewings, contacting sellers, inspecting houses, market analysis, bidding, drafting deeds, and etc. Other supporting staff were also always courteous, responded quickly via email or WhatsApp, and were generally extremely kind, regardless of the questions we asked. The price is well justified, as it does not change with the number of visits/bids (of which we had many) until you have the reassuring house.

Be extremely cautious when considering renting from Van der Meulen Makelaars. My two-year lease ended with an unjustified deduction of more than € 550 from my deposit, combined with misleading claims and unnecessary stress. Just a few days before moving out, their employee, Aron, conducted a pre-inspection. He clearly stated: 'It looks like no one has ever lived here - it's perfect. Exactly as it should be.' This statement gave me confidence, as we had thoroughly cleaned and maintained the apartment. Apart from a minor omission – some crumbs in the oven from cooking the night before – the apartment was clean, undamaged, and exactly as I received it. I even recorded a complete video inspection to document its condition. After my move, I expected to receive my deposit quickly. Instead, they remained silent for a week. Only after I inquired did they respond and suddenly accused me of leaving the apartment 'extremely dirty,' claimed that there were several, unspecified items missing, and that chairs were 'broken.' Initially, they specifically accused me of missing items, including the TV cabinet and the kettle. When I promptly provided video evidence clearly showing these items standing above and on the table respectively, their only response was: 'Oh, we must have overlooked them,' after which they did not respond at all. It remains baffling and suspicious how meticulously they inspected and documented minor issues, such as dust behind heavy furniture, yet managed to overlook obviously visible large items. Despite this clear video evidence, they still retained € 250 from my deposit under the vague category 'missing items.' In reality, the chairs were not broken at all. They showed only normal wear and tear: after two years of daily use, the leatherette began to peel. I had already paid monthly costs (€ 100-150 per month) that explicitly covered normal wear and tear. However, in their final settlement, they did not even specifically mention the chairs but charged me € 250 under the vague and inexplicable category 'missing items.' Initially, they refused to specify what exactly was missing. Furthermore, they charged me € 306.32 for cleaning costs, hired 25 days after my move, including the parking costs of the cleaning company – costs that clearly should not be the tenant's responsibility – further emphasizing the unreasonable and unfair nature of their charges. When I promptly offered to return and arrange the necessary cleaning, specifically the small problem with the oven, they refused because it was 'too late.' Even worse, I was explicitly informed that my lease could not be extended because the landlord had indicated that the apartment was for sale. Relying on their word, I promptly moved with my two young children, encountered significant problems finding a new home and eventually ended up in temporary accommodation. Although I am currently not certain whether the apartment was actually sold, this situation has caused considerable problems and raised concerns about their true intentions. This experience has made me feel exploited and misled. It appears to follow a pattern: They reassure tenants verbally upon check-out. Then they remain silent regarding the return of the deposit. Weeks later, they suddenly report cleaning issues, missing items or damage. They refuse offers from tenants to fix minor problems themselves. Ultimately, they retain large amounts from the deposit with exaggerated claims. I will take legal action to recover my deposit and prevent others from experiencing similar problems. I have given Van der Meulen Makelaars and the landlord time to respond and explain why the deductions were unjustified, but they ignored me. Because they refused to resolve it, I am going to court next working day. I am sharing this review to help future tenants avoid the same stress and injustice.

It is unfortunate that we were unable to reach an agreement. Nevertheless, we remain open to further discussion.

After a very pleasant introductory meeting with Bauke, it was clear that he has an immense amount of experience and knowledge of the market. In addition, his pragmatic view ensures that you know exactly what to expect. He ensures that your house looks beautiful on Funda by using an interior stylist who comes for advice, a good photographer, and he uses features on Funda such as 'eye-catcher'. What I personally also find very pleasant is that Bauke takes the time for everyone interested. If people prefer a personal tour instead of coming to an 'open house', he schedules individual appointments. He thinks it's important that everyone gets the chance to view your house. Bauke and Anna recently helped me with a purchase. I've now been living in the house for about four months. A few weeks ago, I suddenly thought to myself: 'I might still be living here in 40 years'. I couldn’t have even dreamed of that a year ago. Bauke is simply the best (purchase)broker in the North. No exaggeration. During a very difficult period, he helped me find a home within a few months. And not just any home: I couldn't have done better. No place was too crazy or too far for Bauke. We viewed virtually all kinds of properties. Ultimately, I had a choice of three homes on which my bid was accepted. I chose this one from those, which meets all my wishes. Bauke ensured that I could purchase it at a good price and that the process went smoothly. He was also unusually understanding, honest, helpful and accessible. Very pleasant experiences with this real estate agency. Four years ago, when we were house hunting without a buyer's agent, we came into contact with this office twice. Then still as representative of the selling party. They were by far the nicest agents we encountered. Finally someone who takes the time for you. Honest and complete in their answers. Senses whether you want the house. Also come across as friendly and especially human. Not the idea that they want to inflate the housing market, although ultimately it is: what the fool will pay. But they are not crazy when it comes to real estate. Furthermore smooth in dealing with each other, dare to make a joke, but at all times professional. It's a shame Christine no longer works there. But Wouter does, luckily. So this office was engaged for the sale of our current and purchase of a new home. Delighted with this choice. In short: pleasant to deal with again, keep their heads cool, easily accessible, clear/favorable rates. And very happy with the photographer they have hired! Our thanks are great!
