28 Feb 2020Broker is extremely biased. Simply assumes you can't afford certain things and advises you on things you may have already done to check if a value is correct. Just arrogant. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone for selling your own home or purchasing one. Response: yes, no doubt about it. That was your office. You questioned my/our financial position in advance. I also gave you feedback on that.

17 Feb 2025My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lisette Van Tilburg as our realtor for our recent home purchase. We came to Lisette with a difficult situation: we needed a house as quickly as possible because our lease was expiring in two months and we would have nowhere to go afterwards. Lisette was honest with us that it would be quite a job, especially given the crazy housing market in Amsterdam, but ultimately she more than delivered. Throughout the entire home buying process, she skillfully guided us through viewings, assessing properties, and eventually making an offer and closing. As first-time homebuyers and also expats, we had many questions and Lisette was always happy and willing to answer. We especially appreciated her quick communication. We also felt that she always had our best interests at heart and that she was never pressured to make offers that didn't make sense for us. Ultimately, our initial offer was accepted after a bit of back and forth with the seller and we closed on the perfect starter home for us in just under 7 weeks from our first conversation with Lisette DESPITE a hiccup with our mortgage lender, through which she also navigated as a true professional. For what it's worth: our house was also valued higher than what we paid, so the fact that we had instant equity gave us the feeling that we scored big. We are still in disbelief that she could realize this home purchase so quickly and are so grateful for her expertise which guided us along the way. Highly recommend!

The strange thing is that after two weeks they still needed additional information. It concerned two house numbers, which they had also merged into 1 report. A nice company with very friendly and skilled people who are willing to go the extra mile beyond the 9 to 5 mentality. Short lines, good and easy contact. Every time financing was needed, they also handled the contact with the bank and the accountant well. A brokerage firm with many connections and a good personality. And perhaps most importantly in the real estate world where it often involves a lot of money; reliable people.

08 May 2022An extremely bad experience with Brouwer Makelaardij. Brouwer came with a very low appraisal value, which caused problems with the mortgage application. The low value was partly due to gross errors in the appraisal report. For example, an entire floor of the house had disappeared and the sale price of the reference objects was incorrectly corrected, resulting in a difference of 12%. When I contacted them to discuss these shortcomings, I was treated very rudely and unprofessionally by Fabiënne Jager and kept on hold for a long time. I then went to another appraisal agency nearby who were able to appraise quickly and correctly. Ultimately, the appraisal value differed by €95,000 (!) from Brouwer's, which meant that I was fortunately able to get my mortgage.

12 Mar 2025We were recommended Roozeboom by our financial advisor. We have not regretted that. These ladies are very involved, strongly communicative and sold our little house for us. That wasn't easy because it is a holiday home and those aren't easily disposed of. But Roozeboom real estate remained tirelessly committed to it and we experienced them as extremely pleasant and trustworthy. I would hire them again without hesitation. A big ten with a slate and a kiss from the teacher!

12 Feb 2025Do not do business with them... Roozeboom was recently hired as the selling agent in the sale of a house. They were informed from the beginning about a dangerous situation around that house, but they completely dismissed it. Subsequently, they knowingly misled the buyer about that situation. After the buyer complained about this (after the purchase), the response was 'you have a duty to investigate'. Because everything about this is in writing, Roozeboom has made herself and especially her client (the seller) legally vulnerable.
