We could always ask a question and this was quickly answered. We were also kept constantly informed about the sales process. The whole team is involved, responds quickly and thinks along. 21 Dec 2025After 5 months of intensive (and slightly desperate) searching, my partner and I finally found an apartment in Zwolle through Peper Makelaars, which coincidentally was also the real estate agent with whom we had the most pleasant experience from the beginning. At Peper Makelaars, you feel like they're empathizing with you, which is very nice because finding a home in 2025 can still be quite a trial. I won't mention names, but many real estate agents in Zwolle are very unsympathetic; they don't shake hands, don't ask for your name during viewings and don't bother to send an email when you didn't make it... while they're scooping up buckets of deposit money. Peper Makelaars is the opposite, they don't charge any application fees and offer friendly service as it should be, they're also easy to reach and respond promptly to questions. I can highly recommend the services of David and Tjeerd to everyone!

07 Jan 2026I was busy with a rental property. I had been there on a Friday morning, I immediately said yes and was told that I would be called after the weekend for an appointment with the landlord. Afterwards, I wasn't called and had to call myself to find out that there were still 2 people who had registered on Friday after my departure and the landlord wanted to give everyone a fair chance. A pity but okay. Then I received a message with the answer that someone else had priority because the landlord knew the family. I find this very unfortunate as the landlord said he wanted to give everyone a fair chance. So it was not true since someone was given priority while I had been first, but it's the landlord's choice and it's her property so okay. But there would be a follow-up if I was to get an appointment or not. This follow-up never happened and the property is now removed from funda. All in all, communication with the real estate agent boertjes is very bad in my opinion.
