13 Apr 2025This realtor either cheated us or is incompetent. Where experts say everyone could see that there was asbestos in the house, he did not report it. The type of asbestos was one of the most deadly and luckily I discovered it and had it removed so my daughter wouldn't get sick from it. Therefore a bad review. Do not trust this man's word!!

29 Dec 2024A Real Estate Agency that is not honest in doing business !, The Owner J.Huisjes is also a Mortgage Advisor but also a Real Estate Agent, so he wears two 'hats' as I experienced, while he had sold our farmhouse and I wanted to buy a house through him, he let me bid against a non-existent bidder, so it was 5000 euros more (when I later looked in the so-called bidding register, the bid wasn't even there), that is fraud !,,,,,,then after the purchase was finalized, it turned out he had also arranged something with the neighbor of the sold house, who still received a large piece of land back after 40 years, while this was included in the sale! (and as such was also on Funda) and would have expired anyway!, When I didn't want to accept this, he turned the seller against me ....consequence ...he withdrew the sale...Mr. Jan Huisjes also apparently rented out the upstairs floor to the family for years, so cronyism, ...the neighbor in question was his streetmate...ultimately I was left with nothing! think twice before doing business with this agency

We are okay with it, even though you naturally hope that your home will be significantly overbid. Tip: The personal attention you receive before working with this broker could also play a more prominent role in the subsequent process. Occasionally we felt like a number. Top. 12 Jan 2025For the exorbitantly high commission we received, we didn't get the quality we expected, but rather a kind of do-it-yourself package. Although very friendly, Elwin was complacent, lazy and incompetent. We were not taken care of at all and had to do a lot ourselves: from writing advertising text to correcting artist impressions. Even a second viewing he tried to have us do ourselves. When it became complicated with a buyer who did not fulfill his obligations, his knowledge proved insufficient and he was also not motivated to obtain the necessary information. Due to his blundering and mistakes, we as sellers ended up in a legally very complex situation and even had to hire a lawyer. We withdrew the assignment from Het Betere Boerenerf to limit further damage and risks and nevertheless paid him the previously agreed salary. After that, we sold the house independently. Apparently not hindered by any shame or decency, he still sent us an invoice with the full commission, as if the work had been done by him. In the meantime, we were so exhausted by all the misery that we only wanted peace and agreed to a settlement. We have come to know Elwin as a real estate agent who wants to make as much money as possible with as little effort as possible, regardless of the result for his client. He wraps this in beautiful promises, amicable dealings and the illusion that he is on your side. Don't fall for it!
