02 Jun 2025We had asked Tom for an appraisal of our home. Tom gives open and honest advice with a personal approach. He has a good understanding of things and knows how to assess the property's value correctly. Tom comes across as enthusiastic and communicates pleasantly. A breath of fresh air compared to real estate agents from other (large) agencies we had. There you are customer number . They deliver no more than assembly line work with a universal view. They release a formula without looking at the surroundings, location, etc. Everything is focused on selling as quickly as possible and moving on to the next client. That is different with Tom. He takes all the time for his clients and does that extra bit that others leave behind. We can only wholeheartedly recommend Tom!!

Almost hitting the mark with the first house, but for the second, Tom had arranged it on the day of the viewing and also quite a bit below the asking price!! This not only gives you confidence in the process as a client, but also the feeling that someone is truly involved and you are certainly not left alone anymore. In my case, a very short but powerful procedure, which has left me with both a personal and professional impression. Absolutely recommendable! 22 Dec 2024I stayed for more than two years in Said's building and honestly, it was an experience that will forever set the bar high for what a landlord should be. The gold standard is set, people! Once, my keys broke (yes, I have that kind of luck), and without hesitation, Said took on the task of personally resolving the problem, which saved me a lot of stress. No hassle, no eye-rolling, just pure landlord magic. There were other times when he offered a helping hand when it wasn't even necessary, which only proves that he is one of those rare finds in the rental world. Also possesses the incredible ability to respect your privacy while being approachable. It’s like they have an invisible tenant radar: always around when you need them, but never hovering. The building was always in good condition, communication flowed seamlessly and the whole experience made renting a breeze. If I weren't moving, I would happily stay there. Five stars aren't enough: can we give landlords trophies?

Date unknownBEWARE My experience with Heijkens was initially positive during the first conversations. However, immediately after signing the contract, this positivity turned into a severe disappointment. All work was done by a trainee who made many mistakes, causing me to lose buyers as well. And this while the realtor who was supposed to arrange my sale went on vacation himself. The biggest surprise was that Mr. wanted to charge VAT on top of the 1.4% commission. I have not experienced this in the sale of 3 previous houses and therefore did not agree with it. Because the costs were transferred by the notary, I had to reclaim the costs from the realtor afterwards. He offered to charge only 16% VAT, which I also disagreed with. Even after losing multiple buyers and making several mistakes, Mr. still tried to squeeze every last drop out of it. Ultimately, I went to my legal assistance and they reimbursed me for most of the costs, allowing Heijkens to get off lightly by not having to pay the costs themselves. In the document, Mr. mentions 'costs' in another paragraph regarding start-up costs and that VAT is charged on this. Apart from the fact that prices including VAT must always be communicated to consumers, a commission is not a cost but a compensation. Don't be fooled by this man. Go with Goossens or Damen. No problems with these parties. Or look for an NVM realtor. These always neatly show their commission including VAT, as required by law. EDIT: see response from realtor where I explain everything in detail and Mr. skirts around the issues with beautiful words. According to him, letting someone in training who has never seen the house from the inside come alone 5 minutes before the first viewings is adequately supervised. She must have been able to tell and show a lot about the property. She explained the property so well that several buyers didn't even know that the roof of the house and garage had been renovated that year. I could name many more points, but I think my point is clear now. I also completely understand that you would rather not make this information public so that you can continue as before. However, I hope to protect other sellers with this. You have had multiple chances to resolve the problem properly, which you did not use. Let that be clear to everyone who reads this. It's an accumulation of several points where responsibility is not taken at each step.

We take complaints like this very seriously and would like to explain a few things without diminishing your perception. 1. Personal guidance: Your home was guided, among other things but not exclusively, by one of our trainee colleagues, which is correct. We consider training the new generation of brokers an important asset. However, this person was under direct supervision of an experienced broker. We understand that this did not feel like the guidance you had expected beforehand, and that is regrettable. We will learn from this. 2. Broker's vacation: The absence of an employee during the sales period is always internally covered by us. That this was not experienced as sufficient in your case, we take seriously. 3. VAT on brokerage fees: In the Netherlands, legally 21% VAT must be charged on brokerage fees. This is not an extra cost, but an obligation from the Tax Authority. We strive to communicate inclusive prices in order to prevent misunderstandings. The signed sales assignment was also written out completely including and excluding VAT in your case. Should there nevertheless be any uncertainties in our communication, we deeply regret that. 4. Complaint handling & legal assistance: We have tried to reach a solution through consultation. We are sorry that you felt compelled to engage legal assistance, but of course respect your choice in this matter. Although it affects us to read that you feel “scammed” – a term which we experience as very serious – we want to emphasize that we always work with integrity, transparency and within the legal framework. We still invite you for a personal meeting, should you wish. We believe that open dialogue always deserves preference over legal procedures or public dissatisfaction. We were already running the purchase process for our new home through them, but we also entered into an agreement with Maurice Cergnul of Boek & Offermans regarding the sale of our own house in Hoensbroek. A good look was taken at the house while enjoying a cup of coffee. Subsequently, Maurice got to work and collaborated with his colleagues and other parties (floor plans + photos) to present my house in the best possible way. 29 May 2025We bought a house through this real estate agent. He didn't take time for us, during the viewing he was just on the phone. It was very difficult to get in contact with this real estate agent. Afterwards we had contact with the seller of the property and it turned out that the real estate agent had lied about things. And the seller had already accepted earlier offers and the real estate agent hadn't done anything about it, still waiting for higher bids. Unfortunately only looking for commission instead of helping people with a house. Luckily we had a relaxed seller, with whom we could arrange things ourselves. Absolutely not recommended this man! 1 star is still too much unfortunately. A warned person counts for 2.

30 Jun 2025Very bad service, they are young lads too businesslike and rude. You make an appointment take time off from work plan it in for a viewing to rent a building and then you get a phone call that they have rented it out to someone else twice !! APPOINTMENT IS AN APPOINTMENT THEN YOU DON'T RENT IT OUT TO SOMEONE ELSE!! VERY SAD

That is not standard with real estate agents, so it’s very valuable in this industry. Compliments for the pleasant interaction and clear communication. Everything was arranged incredibly quickly and smoothly! Definitely recommended!
