27 Mar 2025As interested tenants for a store in Heemskerk, we have been misled by Jan-Peter. Jan-Peter is open to viewings and requests all documents afterwards, after which he no longer responds at all. I won't be using Brantjes Makelaar again!

Ultimately an offer of 30 thousand below the asking price was accepted, after which the buyers' financing failed twice. Eventually, the house had to be taken off the market and offered again at 40 thousand below the previous asking price. House was eventually sold. A real estate agent was also hired as a buyer's agent, but he did not handle everything...

27 Feb 2025We have a total of five appointments scheduled with Brantjes Makelaar, two of which were with the relevant broker. At these two appointments we had strong indications that the gentleman was under the influence of drugs, which led to an unprofessional and indifferent attitude. We did not feel taken seriously and even felt treated dismissively. In the remaining three viewings, we responded immediately after they went online, but after a few days we received a phone call informing us that the property had already been sold, without any viewings having taken place at all. This is a situation we have never encountered before with a real estate agency. It almost seems as if something is against us. In addition, it is worrying that the properties offered for sale are presented at much too low prices, which leads to heavily overbid prices and misleading of potential buyers. The property is heavily overbid, resulting in the final price being much higher than originally presented. This appears to be a deliberate strategy, as the agency thereby receives more commission on the higher selling price. Moreover, the seller has to pay the broker more commission because the property is put up for sale at a lower price, which financially disadvantages the seller himself. We find this state of affairs extremely unprofessional and unethical. No more Brantjes makelaar for us!!

I can recommend you, but want to provide feedback that the communication could have been better at times. I occasionally missed an update on the progress. Furthermore, I found the response time to messages and phone calls sometimes a bit slow. There is always room for improvement! Thanks again for your commitment and help.

They are incredibly friendly, take you along to see what they're looking at and it’s also nice that they provide an initial estimate of the value so you don't have to wait for the report, although it was already there the next day. Super great. Highly recommended.
