We can understand that they need to make money, but on top of their generous commission come all sorts of extra costs. Additionally, hardly any time was taken for us. I advise to ask enough quotes. We sold our house within a week with a colleague and that for half the price that Duinstra Melis wanted to calculate for us.

15 Dec 2025No good experience. The real estate agent walks through the house you're visiting in a rush. The other time, the agent doesn't even go with you but stands in the kitchen or living room with their head in the phone. 'Have a look around yourself'. As if that weren't enough, there's also an interview with the owner who says that the housing shortage is caused by migrants. What are you even involved in....

The agent showed herself during the first appointment for the valuation positively enthusiastic about my house and garden, which I found pleasant because I had also put a lot of effort into it. We were therefore flooded with responses for the aforementioned property. That you have not received a response from us anymore, is of course no excuse, but it has played a role here. Therefore, on this occasion, our apologies from ‘the one who goes over it’. Your data have been deleted in the meantime. That you bring up the alleged racism card, we find very regrettable and also painful. In this way, you do a disservice to us, but certainly also yourself. If we would select based on origin, you would not have received the application forms at all.
