Frustrated! That's the best way I can describe my personal experience with Brockhoff Makelaars. I have been trying to rent a property from Brockhoff for two weeks. I found a property, created an IDD profile and submitted the available documents. Then everything started to become confusing... Brockhoff asked for documents that were not available, such as an income statement (IB60), an extract from the Basic Administration (BBA), a declaration from the landlord... Come on, I moved to Amsterdam 20 days ago, how do you expect me to have such documents? But I did provide the following: BSN number, bank account number, copy of identity document (residence permit), two payslips, a statement from the candidate, an employer's declaration with gross salary,... Eventually I heard that 'it is better to rent from a private landlord...' Just frustrated.

Short note: 'DO NOT TRUST THEM, absolutely not!' They only want to deceive and fool you; they try to win your trust and then show their true colors. (They withheld 1500 euros of our money without any reason.) In our case, we rented a 45 square meter apartment from them, but they refused all our requests. They offered us an apartment with parking included at the same price as one without parking (which was unnecessary). When we were there, they wanted to charge us 250 euros just for electricity and water contracts! The worst happened when we checked out. Their employee had already checked in before we did and was very pleased about it. She said: 'Oh, everything is so clean and good,' took photos, spoke with us, and won our trust. So we handed over the keys and accepted the checkout without being present, so that we could go to our new location. They charged us 1500 euros for nothing. Can you imagine they charged 600 euros for cleaning a very clean apartment that we returned? Or for an IKEA chair of the lowest quality, slightly scratched, they asked 170 euros! Absolutely nothing, and they deducted this amount from our deposit, so we had to hire a lawyer and do a lot of back-and-forth negotiation, and then they paid back half!! We did not want to go to court and just accepted it. Be very careful with them, or you will regret going into business with them!

Bianca Combee Housing Service made my search for a home easy and enjoyable. The team was professional, attentive, and responded quickly. They listened to my wishes and found the perfect match. A true recommendation!

I found Bianca Combee completely unreliable and very unprofessional. After I hired a lawyer and filed a lawsuit against her, I finally got my deposit and agency fees back. That is really a shame, because she was very friendly and helpful at first and as a small realtor, I wanted her to succeed. Unfortunately, she charged illegal agency fees while working for the landlord and then tried to withhold my deposit for damaged items that were never mentioned in the signed check-out report when I left the apartment. Because she knew I would be leaving the Netherlands on the day of the check-out, she took advantage of this by withholding a large percentage of my deposit and became offensive and arrogant in her emails to prevent me from contacting her. I want to warn everyone to avoid Bianca Combee Housing Services and seek out a professional realtor you can trust. I also advise contacting Amstelveense Woningstichting, which has received many complaints about Bianca Combee's Housing Services due to unprofessional behavior. Bianca Housing is one of the best and most professional housing corporations in the Netherlands. I recently rented a rental property from Bianca. From viewing to check-in, everything went quickly and on time. The house they deliver is clean and perfectly finished, with all amenities. Their communication is top-notch. You get quick answers to your emails. I initially didn't want to sell my apartment, so I had it listed at too high a price at my request. But ultimately, due to the crazy legislation, we decided to sell it with a pain in my heart.
