Two years ago, we found an apartment at Biltstraat 93 through the real estate agency. The landlord treated us well and was very hospitable. Subsequently, we left the apartment in perfect condition and returned to abroad. We waited for the deposit to be returned. And he sent us an email outlining his calculations for utilities based on the square meter size of the apartment, withholding more than 600 euros from our deposit. We tried contacting him via email from abroad, but he never responded.

The worst experience I've ever had with a rental company. The communication was terrible and responses took weeks. They replaced a half-broken refrigerator after 2 months. Despite leaving the property clean, they withheld 145 euros from my deposit for cleaning without prior notice. Moreover, they rented me a building under the pretext of upcoming renovation work, which never took place. Instead, they scheduled viewings without informing me about the canceled renovations. Completely disappointed by their lack of professionalism and integrity.

The selling price was initially set a little too high but after a reduction, it was sold quickly and to my satisfaction (in a period when the market was uncertain). Very good service. A lot of personal attention, focus and goal-orientation for their clients. Enormous experience in particular with houses and real estate market in Utrecht (rental and purchase). In a certain sense not commercial because good advice and good service apparently are more important than a good price for them. Small company which means the phone is sometimes not answered. Sometimes (only) called back in the evening but the commitment is never less. Well acquainted with all regulations, administrative matters and they also draw attention to all possible pitfalls, cornercases etc. Very satisfied overall.
