And in the higher segment there would have been more visits than you were at the bottom end. The realtor didn't find my price realistic and I went along with it because he should be the expert. After an initial shock offer where you would have had a stroke so quickly bad. Adjusted the strategy more towards how I wanted it and still got somewhat more. I am personally of the opinion of men…

21 Dec 2024On Monday we bought a house, on Tuesday afternoon we called Marrit and she made sure that Jan came to our home on Wednesday. Due to the short lines at Hofstee, our house was already photographed for sale by Friday. After approval from our side regarding the photos, the video, and the accompanying text, our house was already placed on Funda for the following weekend. Having had multiple viewings in a week, we saw the bids on Monday. We are convinced that Jan's open and pleasant attitude during the viewings and Marrit's always alert and attentive attitude at the office ensured that we were able to sell our house to great satisfaction. Throughout the entire process, we were kept informed of developments: after the viewings, we were called to let us know how it had gone and what the expectations were. If we had a question, we could always contact Marrit and Jan, both by phone and email. We are very happy that we went with Hofstee and will recommend them to everyone who wants to sell their house.

And then the seller tells you that a meter of the front garden belongs to the municipality, later it turns out that half of the garden is well over 3 meters from the municipality. 339 euros taken from our noses, due to careless work by the real estate agent. Date unknownHouse bought through this realtor, when asking about the neighbors or if you're bothered by them, you were told you wouldn't hear them. Well, it's as noisy as the plague, doors slam on the stairs with shoes, a huge racket. We feel somewhat misled by the seller and realtor. And also, some things were concealed, such as a hidden open well in the conservatory and asbestos pipes. (And so on) So be careful if you do business with them.

No beautiful words and no overly enthusiastic stories. She knows the market, therefore she can guide expectations well. She especially knows people. She makes a good assessment of sellers and buyers. That way you never have to deal with surprises.
