08 Sep 2024When we bought our current home some years ago, we engaged a structural engineer for a technical inspection. What a great guy he was. I've always maintained that you have to come from a good house to surpass such an expert man. Someone you don’t just find easily. But yes indeed.....he has been found, and it is Hittjo de Wal of Woonstee Makelaars! On the website he is described as a down-to-earth Groninger with a realistic view of things, and I can only agree. Last Friday, August 30, 2024, I had an appointment with him for a technical inspection in connection with the purchase of a property. It can be stated without further ado that Hittjo is structurally very knowledgeable and misses nothing. At least....that’s my conclusion, and after completing the very thorough inspection, I was convinced that almost every square centimeter of the house has been examined. Hittjo is a super enthusiastic man who takes his work very seriously and clearly sees his work as a hobby too. And all this with a good dose of humor. From me he gets a big feather and wishes everyone who needs a technical 'expert'. Once again, thank you very much for your expertise Hittjo! I know how to find you if that should be necessary again. 08 Aug 2024Hello, We have made an offer on a house in Midwolda and the offer was accepted by the sellers and we started everything in motion and Mr. Hittjo de Wal simply calls after a week and says that the house will not go through and has been sold to the other buyers because they have cash money. We think this is very sad from the company Woonstee, that we are being put at costs. And if you read the reviews well, then they do that and I am not the only one. Friendly angry realtor. Be careful. Well, it's quite something to get a bad review because you adhere to the law and also to your duty to protect the interests of your client (the seller). We naturally understand that Rob and Annet are very disappointed, but things are somewhat different than they say. After a verbal agreement was reached, we clearly pointed out to them via email that as long as there is no signed purchase agreement, both parties are free to withdraw from the sale. A verbal agreement is simply not valid. And if a better buyer appears in the meantime, it is our DUTY to inform the seller of this, and the seller is FREE to enter into an agreement with this other buyer. Furthermore, the house was NOT just sold to someone else (and there’s absolutely no question of cash), because we still offered them the opportunity to adjust their bid. Date unknownI want to report about Bosstraat 15 in Winschoten. I had a viewing at Bosstraat 15 in Winschoten and the realtor was late, and the viewing only showed half of the property to the seller. Also, regarding suspected asbestos in the attic, the realtor wants me to pay for an inspection to check if there is suspected asbestos and also to remove it. I think this is a really very bad situation. I have never experienced this as a buyer; this must be handled. For me, above the attic, suspected asbestos is n.v.t for this house and the realtor. For me, this realtor doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Date unknownInitially good contact, but we still look back on a unpleasant experience. When purchasing Hoofdweg 126 A in Schildwolde, we explicitly asked Mr. Blik if there were any hidden defects and/or other shortcomings about which he had to tell us, but according to him the house was completely renovated and in perfect condition. After the structural survey, it appeared that another € 40,000 needed to be renovated. A leaking roof, an exterior wall that had to be completely replaced, multiple leaking frames, a hole in the ceiling/roof of the bathroom (you could see the air) and generally the house was in very poor condition with poor workmanship. Due to the structural survey, the purchase naturally did not go ahead, but I had expected more transparency from Mr. Blik. He certainly knew about some of these shortcomings or should have better informed himself by the selling party. The structural advisor was also disappointed because this kind of ‘botched work’ was often observed in houses belonging to the selling party (the well-known real estate trader from Slochteren). I am curious whether the next interested parties for Hoofdweg 126 A will be fully informed about the condition of the house.

26 Nov 2024I went along with an inspection by an acquaintance to a house familiar to me for technical support. Henry Kamp is a fluent conversationalist who you easily let lead, and in practice you have to be careful about that. He told several things that turned out not to be entirely true. My acquaintance also had difficulty making contact and getting responses back, which took at least several days and he always got his son Armand Kamp on the line, who turned out to be his assistant, who then had to ask his father. It was slow and inefficient. I also see that his son left a 5-star review here, which unfortunately cannot be objective. Also, most of the reviews on the website are not about this realtor; they were usually from a realtor from Midden-Groningen and not Oost-Groningen. I would not recommend this realtor.
