07 Apr 2025Today, March 17th, was the handover of our house to the new residents. What a lot Stephanie from Xtra Real Estate arranged for us between November and today! She put in remarkably much time during the preliminary consultation, was present for all hours during the photo reportage. Every viewing that came onto the agenda was communicated from the backoffice (top!). And there were no less than 17 of them; Stephanie called us daily at our vacation address to discuss the progress. Very nice too: an appointment is an appointment, you didn't have to doubt whether an appointment would be kept. And even after the agreement was signed, we could arrange for further support. Changing the planned handover date: I’ll take care of it, you don’t need to do anything. And that’s how the whole process went. And all of this for a fixed price, so no percentage on the selling price. That's enough of this advertisement, but it is 100% deserved. Deep bow for Stephanie and ‘the rest’ of Xtra Real Estate!

Date unknownUnder the guise of "I don't have a key," we were unable to view the garage at our new house. They assured us that there was a loft and electricity. At handover, you are told that the garage lock is broken, no loft exists, and the electricity doesn't work. Because we expect 10 people and 2 suppliers the weekend after, we reluctantly agreed anyway. WRONG!!! This broker wants to "buy off" all of this with €200,= . Just the garage lock would already cost €250,= excl. VAT and excl. installation. Don't let these cowboys pull the wool over your eyes like we did. Read everything carefully because it is all covered in small print and pretty talk. Check everything, and if you can’t check something, DO IT CORRECTLY. If you still do business with these cowboys, make sure you have good legal assistance. Trust is good, but checking is better

The real estate agent came by before the sale to offer suggestions, everything was well guided during the sales process, both Thomas and Dolores provided continuous interim updates, and in the sales process of our house, much was taken ''out of our hands'' because my partner is heavily pregnant and could focus on that more. We are very satisfied!

To which I said the property is worth it, no problem. because the residents didn't want to give up a euro. (The property has been for sale for over a year) I asked about a viewing and he again wanted to know if we were going to pay? I said something like committing unseen? I asked if it had already been appraised? If the appraisal value is correct and we like the property. So when can we view, whereupon he said, call in two weeks but to see if it's still for sale and literally slammed down the phone. Also his manner of speaking was dismissive from the start. Mr. is busy then we are not doing any viewings at the moment, so that’s clear, but this conversation made no sense whatsoever. Don't put your property up for sale here 😬
