We were often too late for a viewing or the house had already been sold before it appeared on Funda. Therefore, we decided to hire a purchasing agent, despite initially thinking we could do it ourselves. Afterwards, it turned out to be the smartest choice we could have made. We looked for a purchasing agent who was active in the neighborhoods where we were searching. After sending 14 emails, we scheduled 10 introductory meetings. Every agent had a good story to tell, whether they worked at a large agency or as an independent broker. Some were very proactive, while others were more hesitant and would only actively search during a second appointment. However, we wanted someone who would think along with us directly and help us react quickly to new homes. During the conversations, one agent stood out: Chey & Sharon from Swaneveld Estate. They asked us how we would approach bridging fixed costs and how our budget fit into that. We hadn't seen that level of thinking with any other agent. At that moment, we actually already knew we would choose them, despite there being other candidates we felt good about. The fact that they could refer us to a financial advisor to guide us further was an extra plus point. Then the search began, or rather: the hunt of our lives. In the beginning, we had strict requirements regarding neighborhoods and types of houses. But as the search progressed, we realized that our wishes did not entirely align with reality. The homes we had in mind were often too small or not practically accessible for a family with a young child. Fortunately, Chey & Sharon thought along well with us here. They gave advice on what was and wasn't sensible and helped us discover what really mattered to us. Thanks to their guidance, we gained more and more insight into what we should pay attention to, and they understood better and better what we were looking for. Ultimately, we found our dream home. Without Chey & Sharon, this would never have happened, especially not with this house. Even after the purchase, we were fantastically guided. He was already very friendly during the viewing and could tell a lot about the apartment and the neighborhood, and he could answer my questions (which unfortunately wasn't the case with other sales brokers). His transparency and honesty were very pleasant during the viewing. When I heard that my offer had been accepted and the arrangement of the follow-up steps began, Dennis was very helpful and his communication was clear and very fast. He also made time on a Saturday to calmly review the purchase agreement. He has the best interests at heart for both the seller and the buyer. I experienced the entire process as very pleasant with Dennis' help and would certainly have wanted him as my purchasing broker if my search for a home had lasted longer.

Our move went smoothly, in part thanks to Olsthoorn. Not only due to the good sale and service, but also because of the moving van we borrowed from Olsthoorn. Super well arranged from beginning to end.
