Good and direct communication also through the in-house staff; you are kept well informed about the sales process. Telephone updates are then directly confirmed by e-mail again. Everything (initial conversation, photo and video recordings, creating the sales brochure, viewings, offers etc.) runs very structured and appointments are kept. Having one real estate agent as a fixed point of contact we found very valuable. In short, we felt very represented by Van Ravens Makelaardij and we can recommend this office.

05 Sep 2025From the first contact there was clarity. We wanted an initial orientation to find out what our house might be worth. In this regard, we received a non-binding real value of our home that we could work with further. Nothing exaggerated about what the house might be worth, but a clear and straightforward explanation of its actual value at all times. This way you can then calculate, search, and orient yourself with peace of mind. After more than a year, we found our dream location and had to put the house up for sale. Of course, we chose Ravens for this process due to the pleasant feeling we had. What a joy. Everything was quickly and clearly arranged. You are kept informed about everything, and you are truly taken care of. And do you know what we find very nice when contacting them? When you mention your name, usually just your first name, they at Ravens know who you are. Nothing with fancy words or exaggeration, but simply relaxed and comfortable, somewhere where you feel at home. If it weren't for the fact that we never want to leave our new house and have moved outside the region, I would definitely recommend Ravens.

As an internationally moving family, we were looking for a long-term home in a new country, a new city and a housing market that we did not fully understand. From the beginning it became clear that Sharon was the ideal partner to guide us through this important and unfamiliar process. We first met Sharon when she showed a house that we happened to visit. Her transparency, honest approach and in-depth knowledge of the local market were immediately apparent. She communicated clearly with us in excellent English, making every step simple and reassuring. We also appreciated the excellent price-quality ratio of Swaneveldes services and the impression - which was soon confirmed - that Sharon combined honesty, proactiveness, responsiveness and very strong negotiation and analytical skills. From the moment we engaged her, Sharon took full responsibility for the process. Over a period of about two months she helped us search for suitable homes, organized and was present at every viewing and consistently warned us about red flags or potential pitfalls that we ourselves had not noticed. Her assessments were always thorough. Engaging him proved to be the best decision, because with his help I bought a home that fit me perfectly. Unlike other purchasing agents I spoke with, Jeroen was accessible, kept his word, really listened to me and always gave honest and pragmatic advice. It is nice that he offers different service levels depending on the customer's needs. For example, I thought it was fine to do the search and viewings myself, and he accepted this approach. However, if someone is not familiar with The Hague or the housing market, I would advise them to make optimal use of Jeroen’s services and expertise. He knows all the nuances and can recommend a solution based on budget, family or life situation. When I found a property that appealed to me, he quickly made an offer and closed the deal, and he also handled unexpected twists well. He has a good network and was able to quickly arrange a structural survey or recommend a reliable notary. Jeroen’s colleague Mariëtte also deserves special praise and thanks for all her support. She helped me with operational tasks, administration and always answered my questions very quickly. The team deserves five stars purely based on the result: in the challenging housing market I was able to buy a beautiful house at a fair price. Moreover, I had the opportunity to work with two fantastic people who I can certainly recommend to everyone and would definitely engage again in the future.

Lorenzo, part of ZO Realtors, is a good photographer and takes the most beautiful pictures of the house! The ZO Realtors team in the office arranges everything down to the last detail, quickly and efficiently. ZO Insurance handles everything on the same day and ZO you don't have to worry about anything. In both processes we were excellently helped! The price of all real estate agents I personally find (much) too high and therefore here a lower number and is separate from the service of this real estate agent. Definitely a recommendation as a real estate agent!

Perhaps should have been more assertive when dealing with the first buyer who requested a postponement and couldn't secure financing, regarding the appraisal by the financial institution.
