25 Sep 2025Worst possible experience! Self-interest is clearly prioritized over customer interest. The strategy of this real estate agent is to offer houses cheaply, which is good for turnover but not in the best interest of the client (= hardly any influence on commission). The only action they take is listing the house on Funda and then crossing their fingers and waiting. The house could have sold much faster and for a much better price with a proactive approach, but that is completely absent as is self-reflection. Every well-intentioned advice was disregarded in an uncivil manner, and truthfulness is not closely observed either. For example, my home at delivery was almost 900m3 large but had grown to nearly 1200m3 by the time of sale (!?), I naturally withdrew from this in writing. Another example is that the possibility was taken away from me to place a review on Funda. This would be against Funda's policy, but according to Funda itself they advised me to place a review elsewhere because without cooperation from an estate agent they can do nothing about it. Therefore I have my doubts about the integrity of the positive reviews that this real estate agent only praises to the skies as outside of excellent photo presentation my experiences are almost entirely negative and there could be a book written about it.

They distinguish themselves among other things by taking extra steps for you, even unsolicited, understanding their profession, reacting quickly and communicating well - if necessary, also on weekends - being friendly and paying attention to you as a person and the emotions that selling your house brings with it. Not only because of her expertise and experience, but especially due to her personal and warm approach. Robert-Jan was proactive, honest, easily accessible and above all knowledgeable: he always knew how to clearly explain the pros and cons of a house and/or location, and indicated what was and was not market conform. A realistic real estate agent with a sharp eye for houses, no castle builder.
