You already had problems when signing the contract because I am from Poland; I had to pay for a floor that was already there, and when I moved out, you didn't want to refund the money or have the flooring removed - this is just one example. Poles who come to your office are treated unfairly, and I also know this from other people.

Too bad about this review. This is a Polish lady whom we have never seen or spoken to. And an unjustified rating. This is completely unknown to us. We regularly rent to Polish people and it never causes problems. However, we work for landlords and do not own any properties that we rent out ourselves. If possible, we would like to know which address it concerns. We suspect it does not belong to our office.

30 Jul 2025We had an appraisal done here, as well as with Boumij for comparison. The difference between the two appraisals was over €85,000. Ultimately chose Boumij, and they actually sold the house for a much higher value. This clearly indicates that VDH Wonen is less familiar with the market. When we wanted to approach VDH Wonen to understand where the difference came from, they were not willing to discuss it. Very disappointing. Addition to the response of VDH: I actually worked with this party and provided substantive proof of this. After I stated that I would not deviate from my position, they made it unnecessarily personal. An extra reason to give 1 star.

They came well prepared, with two real estate agents to keep the valuation as objective as possible. The estimate seemed on the high side, but they kept their word. The mortgage process also went smoothly. Jaimy, the mortgage advisor, was pleasant to communicate with and gave clear advice. No moment of stress experienced. Wat Michiel echt onderscheidt, is zijn kalme en geruststellende houding - iets wat van onschatbare waarde bleek tijdens de vaak stressvolle en emotioneel uitputtende zoektocht naar een woning in de huidige uitdagende Nederlandse huizenmarkt. Een ander belangrijk aspect dat we zeer waardeerden, was Michiels scherpe oog voor detail. Hij hielp ons verschillende potentiële valkuilen te ontwijken door snel problemen in woningen te identificeren die op het eerste gezicht niet duidelijk waren. Veel van deze woningen zagen er op het eerste gezicht fantastisch uit, en zonder zijn begeleiding hadden we ze misschien serieus overwogen.
