18 Dec 2023Finesse Real Estate and in particular Marleen de Bekker apparently has difficulty complying with the NVM code of conduct. The way things are acted upon does not benefit real estate agents. Everything is focused on collecting brokerage fees twice. Regarding the response from Marleen de Bekker, I would like to respond as follows. Apparently she did not understand the essence of my review. The NVM code of conduct is about acting with integrity and transparency by a real estate agent. The way of working of Marleen de Bekker does not qualify as honest and transparent. As a result, I have suffered financial damage.

The apartment was rented out immediately. We also tried it ourselves via other platforms, but that was honestly a waste of time. We will certainly use their services again.

07 Feb 2024I rented out my apartment through huizenbalie. I was well helped and my questions were answered very quickly. I also received the requests for viewings directly via my email. Can really recommend huizenbalie if you want to rent out your home yourself. Update: A little over a year later, I placed another advertisement through huizenbalie. Now interested parties have to fill in a questionnaire with a motivation beforehand, which results in more serious reactions. Again, many responses in a short time. Huib is handling it well again just like last time.

07 Feb 2023Very bad service, this morning my friend had an appointment for a viewing in Den Helder. He had to come from Hellevoetsluis, so he drove almost 2 hours. Upon arrival at the agreed time, no one was present. Repeatedly tried to call, only an answering machine that addresses you, now I understand why there is no voicemail. Ultimately, no one showed up and it cost him a lot of time and expensive fuel. Very customer unfriendly!!!!

Handling it myself, but this saves me 1000+ Euro , especially compared to (expat) real estate agencies, which ask for 1 month's rent for this (?!). Contact person very friendly on the phone. Conclusion: the future of property rental in a company

07 Feb 2023The Huizenbalie is a bad party for potential renters. You are connected to an automated message. They ask if you send an email. Then you hear nothing more. The telephone service also tries to fob you off with an email. Very poorly organized!

07 Feb 2023Warning! Extremely bad company! - Do you call the central number for interest in a property? You are referred to an email address and the connection is disconnected. Telephone consultation is impossible. - Do you call the number of one of their branches (in my case Groningen)? You get a message that the phone number is not in service. - Once responded via email to a property? You initially receive an automatic 'Postmaster' email as if the email address is undeliverable. Then you get a person whose first and last name are listed in the note of the email. - In a rental process, you can have many questions as a candidate. These will not be answered. Not even by email. The contact person only wants you to respond to his/her questions and not the other way around. - Finally: the viewing itself. You get a nice property to view. Good housing stock. Only the process: no hand is shaken, there is no interest in getting to know you, you are questioned about why you want to move (even though you have already mentioned this via email) and what you earn. You can give answers, but because listening is selective, what you actually say is not processed. - Ask for a video viewing. This prevents you from having to drive a long way only to hear during the viewing that there are 10 other candidates and you shouldn't get your hopes up... - The worst thing of all: the attitude. Mrs. Geraldien Miedema couldn't resist saying that they 'granted' the property to someone else. It might also be 'rented' to someone else, Mrs. Miedema. In short: 1 star for the property itself. No stars for the service.

This resulted in the purchase of a healthy-yielding building. Besides the aforementioned purchase process, he also surprisingly personally helped us after the purchase with drafting the rental agreements. Meeuwis Makelaardij pleasantly surprised us in this regard and adjusted our (not very positive) view of a real estate agent. We now believe that in such times a good real estate agent is a must! We recommend real estate agency Meeuwis to everyone!

As soon as this worthless broker goes to view a house with a client from his side, via another broker, he will heavily criticize that house because it is not in his portfolio and he cannot earn anything from it. I have heard this from several candidates so far, who will also open their mouths about how this broker treats candidates, very sad and very unprofessional. He also stops communicating completely with the broker where the house is for sale, as well as with people who showed interest in our house. This also happened recently with a neighbor of mine who experienced the same rude attitude. People come along, make them wait, and don't show up, yes, that house was not in his portfolio either, very sad. Then the client calls this broker and the answer was completely forgotten. Will contact the buyer and let you know, and what do you think? Exactly, he also heard nothing from this great broker then. Will remain neat, scandalous and rude. So buyers and sellers, you are now aware.

20 Dec 2017Meeuwis Real Estate proposes a viewing to have a client of his show us the house. I give him two times for the viewing. I receive no response from that, so I call him a day before the relevant day to remind him. He had forgotten. Can happen. I propose the two times again with the notification to respond. Again, no reaction. This realtor must protect the interests of a potential home buyer, but handles it like this. Today I meet a neighbor who also has his house for sale. Also deals with a buyer's agent, which turns out to be the same one, namely Meeuwis. He visited the neighbor’s house, but didn’t have the decency to give feedback.
