20 May 2025Very disappointing experience with the sales procedure of Kalenberg Noord 30 in Ossenzijl. As one of the last two serious bidders, I unfortunately had to conclude that there is no equal treatment, transparency or professional handling at this office. My increased bid of €452,000 without a financing condition, submitted via email (as permitted in their own sales instructions), was only acknowledged after I had to repeatedly inquire. To date, no evidence has been provided that this bid was actually passed on to both sellers. Nor was a bid log provided, while the house has since been withdrawn from sale. In addition, I received incorrect information about the motives of the sellers (“the brother didn’t want to sell”), whereas later it turned out that the daughter – who was notably the client of the office and co-owner – had taken over her brother's share. This double role was never reported, which points to a serious conflict of interest. During the sales process, essential documents were missing, such as a complete floor plan and a completed questionnaire. This meant that there was no equal provision of information compared to other bidders, such as the daughter, brother and neighbors who also expressed interest. My request to make direct contact with the sellers (now that the office is no longer playing an active role) has been repeatedly refused, thereby blocking my remaining chance of purchase. This experience demonstrates a lack of due diligence, transparency and professional decency. A real estate agent should mediate objectively, not entangle interests and withhold information.

It's a shame you think you need to express your dissatisfaction in this way. But for the sake of clarity; 'your story' does not align with reality. Through our office, no sale was concluded because the seller ultimately did not want to sell the property. We received compliments from several other bidders, whom we also had to disappoint, regarding the correct and open communication about the unusual course of events concerning the offered property.

13 Jul 2024You can expect a realistic view of the housing market and practical advice from Jannie Keizer and her colleagues. Like a tiger, Jannie strives to get the best out of a sale. The nice thing is that there are no barriers to asking or submitting anything to Jannie or the employees. A downside was that some appointments, such as callbacks, sometimes got lost in translation, but it was also a hectic time, because our house was sold within 14 days.

The next day, our realtor was called again to hear that the house had suddenly been sold to someone else. They also respond via social media and through Funda. Unfortunately, your reaction was too late for this property, namely at a time when viewings could no longer be scheduled. This was done in consultation with our client. We are sorry that we were unable to help you with this property. It was also very extreme here with so many reactions. Hopefully it will work out with the next property. And using a search service (free and non-binding) does indeed help to receive the offer a little earlier. What none of the real estate agents achieved in a then very difficult market, was for this agent an exercise with success. Honest, realistic, connecting where the possibilities lay, and: everyone happy. I still owe him this review, I'm zero when it comes to digital matters and social media, which is how I prefer to keep it - God preserve me! But it kept haunting me; the debt I owed Snoek, namely a rightful good review. Here issie then: Snoek delivers what others can’t, keeps his promise, and knows how to balance in everyone's favor. 15 Jun 2025As one of the first people called on Friday to view a property that wasn't even listed on Funda yet. The exact possibilities for viewing were not yet known and we would be called back on Tuesday after the long Pentecost weekend. Meanwhile, it is now a week later on Friday and we have not been called back. We had to call ourselves. A decision has been made for 2 viewing days. The first one is full and the second we cannot attend due to work. And that's what you have to deal with. A slightly customer-oriented real estate agent would, in consultation with the seller, create an extra moment for us because they have been lax themselves. The housing market is so good that they really don't care at all. Look, there will be a bad period in the housing market again sometime and then these kinds of things will not be forgotten. Absolutely not recommended. You don't want a real estate agent like that.

Second sale was not optimal, poor start, little information provided, careless. Our purchase went downright badly, mediocre viewing, questionnaire not filled in truthfully, many (dubious) points. Ronald comes across as friendly and skilled, but his work often leaves much to be desired, and he tries to brush off problems with very simple tests. I therefore cannot judge otherwise, Ronald is a real estate agent with a huge (?)

There was a party that later wanted to offer more, and according to him, that's how the market works now. All my contacts (advisory real estate agent, mortgage advisor) find this behavior unacceptable, just like I do. This gives the real estate profession a bad name. Appointments apparently aren't important to Herman.

Unnecessary delays occurred in the process because the agent Herman was preoccupied with expressing doubts about our financing – an aspect that falls outside his direct responsibility. This unjustified focus on financial feasibility resulted in an unacceptable delay in drafting the purchase agreement. As a result, other interested parties had the opportunity to submit a bid. To our great regret and frustration, we were outbid, while the appraisal was already scheduled and our financial situation had already been verified. These circumstances have led us to now be without a home, despite being in an advanced stage of the purchasing process. We experience this as very unprofessional and it has caused us unnecessary stress and disappointment. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot recommend agent Herman.
