Almost hit the mark with the first house, but for the second, Tom had it arranged on the day of the viewing and also quite a bit below the asking price!! That's something we didn't expect in this market. Can’t do anything other than recommend him as a (purchase) broker. Thanks again, Tom, Silvain & Linda 👍👍 PS Think twice if you are referred to Andre Feijs for finances. Only had misery and problems here that I did not resolve thanks to them. Nice story but total amateurs.

09 Jun 2025We had asked Tom for an appraisal of our home. Tom gives open and honest advice with a personal approach. He has a good understanding of things and knows how to assess the property's value correctly. Tom comes across as enthusiastic and communicates pleasantly. A breath of fresh air compared to real estate agents from other (large) agencies we had. There you are customer number . They deliver no more than assembly line work with a universal view. They release a formula without looking at the surroundings, location, etc. Everything is focused on selling as quickly as possible and moving on to the next client. That is different with Tom. He takes all the time for his clients and does that extra bit that others leave behind. We can only wholeheartedly recommend Tom!!

Once my keys broke (yes, I have that kind of luck), and without hesitation Said took on the responsibility to personally resolve the issue, which saved me a lot of stress. No hassle, no eye-rolling – just pure landlord magic. There were also moments when he offered a helping hand when it wasn't necessary, which only proves that he is one of those rare finds in the rental world. And they also have that incredible ability to respect your privacy and at the same time be approachable. It’s as if they have an invisible tenant radar – always around when you need them, but never around. The property was always in good condition, communication flowed effortlessly, and the whole experience made renting a breeze. If I weren't moving, I would still happily stay there. Five stars aren't enough – can we give out landlord trophies?

18 Jul 2025My experience with real estate agent Rick Perk during the viewing of the studio apartment at Wannerplein 44 in Heerlen was very disappointing. During the viewing and the purchasing process, Mr. Perk knowingly and deliberately concealed serious defects in the property. For example, I wasn't told that the current old central heating boiler cannot be connected to an HR boiler at all and that the entire installation must be replaced, which entails a cost of approximately €20,000. When I asked to have a structural survey carried out, this real estate agent refused to allow it with the story that it was not necessary. He tried to keep this serious limitation hidden for the sale. Also, the necessary VVE (Homeowners Association) and sales documents were deliberately not provided, despite repeated requests from my side, so that this limitation is not made known through the minutes of the residents. In addition, he himself spontaneously determined an amount of €15,000 for the parking garage and refused to show proof showing that the parking garage is being sold for this amount. It is obvious that the amount of the parking garage is much lower than his amount; when I requested the documents from the VVE and from the parking garage, he got into trouble and decided to reject my offer so that his fraud remains hidden from me. The studio apartment is sold with a project notary, and the amount of the notary by the seller must be paid, Mr. Rick wanted me to pay these costs myself €2500 euro. The property needs to be heavily renovated immediately (with more than €35,000 in costs for kitchen, floor, bathroom, plasterwork and many more repairs, excluding the cost of the central heating boiler). Mr. Perk seemed to think he could manipulate and swindle me as a foreign buyer into agreeing to an excessively high price of €132,500 plus €15,000 for a parking space. After I accidentally discovered the limitations and lowered my offer to €115,000 euro (excluding parking costs €15,000 euro), my offer was rejected without good reason after a week with the argument that the owner no longer wanted to sell the property because I had withdrawn my previous offer of €132,500. This feels to me like a choice between fraud or not selling the property. This real estate agent is unreliable. I advise everyone to be very careful when dealing with him and always have an independent structural survey carried out before proceeding.

You fail to mention that you left the property damaged, always washed your dog in the communal shower, did not return all keys, we had to have everything cleaned, and we had to have all of your belongings removed (inside and outside). The security deposit (€350,-) was far from sufficient to cover the costs incurred by us. It is also unfortunate that you are trying to portray me/us in a negative light in this way! Of course, we are always open to a personal meeting and you can always contact us at 045-7440444.

08 Sep 2024What a bad realtor. During the viewing, we were already misled that there was a bidding process. This is completely untrue. In addition, the advertisement for the house is not correct. A very large piece of land was missing, which had been photographed and indicated. The local realtor didn't know much and couldn't give us answers to questions. In short, definitely not recommended

08 Sep 2024Very satisfied with the entire process. Bas kept all his appointments. He helped us tremendously, gave consistently good advice, and was also very correct and helpful towards the buyers. For our house we received a good price, the photos, the prospect and the signs for the house were very beautiful, and the purchase agreement was well put together. On the search sites we were very easy to find both in the Netherlands and Germany. It looked attractive and immediately attracted buyers. And because they were real photos and videos, potential buyers were also very enthusiastic during the viewings of our house. Bas is very friendly, helpful but above all very skilled. As transparent as he is and not afraid to call a spade a spade towards all parties, he prevented problems during the sale in advance; not in an annoying way, and yet with all due respect. But no one can claim that things were not said as they were, or that anything was concealed. Therefore we are happy to give Bas and his wife Ilona 5 stars, because they deserve it: truly recommended!

23 Mar 2024Deeply disappointed, in 4 months it hasn't been possible to receive a callback even once. Called, emailed, nothing helps, keep away from here. As long as you pay your premium and everything seems fine, but appearances deceive; as soon as something happens, they are unavailable. Cancelled the entire package and this too goes wrong; communication is clearly not possible here, you have to arrange everything yourself, and that could be much better elsewhere.

23 Mar 2023I am normally not someone who leaves bad reviews but now I feel compelled to do so in order to save other people a lot of time and misery. We had an introductory meeting with the financial advisor from FinSafe. This was a pleasant conversation, and despite the fact that we had actually already chosen another financial advisor, we decided, based on this introduction and after reading several good reviews, to switch to FinSafe. Well, we wish we hadn't! I have never experienced such terrible communication as in this company. You have to chase everything yourself, they keep you informed about nothing regarding new developments, and finally, they make a lot of mistakes. And then I’m talking about gross errors, repeatedly a different calculation regarding financing space, each time a different outcome. Incorrectly entered data, even entering a completely different address! We received a mortgage proposal for a house which we had not purchased. Ultimately, we ourselves contacted the mortgage provider to track down this error!! There was an exchange of data, simply a data leak! In addition, the two advisors involved contradicted each other several times, so you didn’t know where you stood. We had 8 weeks to get the financing finalized, which they had to postpone twice due to sheer negligence and incorrectly provided information, causing everything to be delayed. In one word: UNPROFESSIONAL. This period has only cost a lot of stress and time. That's not even mentioning the personal clashes with Mr. V. That was the icing on the cake, he attacked us in a very inappropriate way. He brought up private matters as an excuse for why he had once again failed to perform his work properly. If you didn’t inquire further about this, you were blamed for it too. They never took responsibility for their shortcomings and certainly no apologies for the mistakes made and improper treatment. Ultimately, the entire process lasted well over 12 weeks, and we only received final approval one week before we had to leave our home. End well, but definitely not all good. I can only advise people one thing and that is to stay far, very far away from FinSafe. This is a very concise description of our experience with them; we hope to spare others this lesson.
