Furthermore, appointments were made between the owner of the property and OPS behind my back, without informing me. These appointments were also made while this is prohibited by law. Agreements that I made WITH OPS during the key handover of my old apartment are not being honored. Terrible communication, appointments are not kept or are made in a way that is legally questionable. No transparency.. and I have been ignored for days/weeks.

He has a good understanding of things and knows how to assess the property's value correctly. Tom comes across as enthusiastic and communicates pleasantly. A breath of fresh air compared to real estate agents from other (large) agencies we had. There you are customer number . They deliver no more than assembly line work with a universal view. They release a formula without looking at the surroundings, location, etc. Everything is focused on selling as quickly as possible and moving on to the next client. That is different with Tom. He takes all the time for his clients and does that extra bit that others leave behind. We can only wholeheartedly recommend Tom!!

07 Jul 2025I had two viewings with real estate agent Saïd. The first property (studio) I immediately rejected because it didn't align with my housing wishes. For the second property (small apartment), I made an offer of €150,000 euro without a mortgage, which was in proportion to the condition of the property that has been for sale for 6 months— as a lot needs to be renovated directly, including the kitchen, bathroom, floor, central heating boiler and the toilet. The small apartment is not worth more than €130,000 euro; he had estimated it at €179,000 euro for a pile of an apartment where everything needs to be renovated immediately. This type of dishonest real estate agents inflate the market value of the properties very much with their false estimate value. During the viewing, I noticed that the realtor arrived 15 minutes later than the agreed appointment. He was rushed and unfriendly. He didn't take the time to show all rooms calmly, and the storage room wasn’t shown at all. When he knew about my financial situation after selling my previous home, his attitude seemed to change. He indicated that he “wanted everything €160,000 euro”, in other words: he tried to put pressure on me to make a higher bid, solely to earn more himself as he stated. His behavior gave me the feeling that he would block the sale if I didn’t meet his expectations. He thought I was a stupid woman so he could easily manipulate me. I found this way of working anything but professional. As a buyer you want to be taken seriously and treated fairly — that wasn't the case here. My experience with this realtor was very disappointing and I cannot recommend him. I am glad it didn’t go through.

A seller decides whether or not they agree with an offer, not the real estate agent. I called you at 12:55 pm to let you know I was 5 minutes late. You indicated that this was no problem. I showed you 2 apartments on Saturday. This seems like a reasonable service to me. We work with a fixed amount for homes up to 295,000 euros. Both apartments are below that price range so I cannot earn more or less regardless of your offer. You send messages stating that a kitchen costs 8000 euro in Germany. 18 Jul 2025My experience with real estate agent Rick Perk during the viewing of the studio apartment at Wannerplein 44 in Heerlen was very disappointing. During the viewing and the purchasing process, Mr. Perk knowingly and deliberately concealed serious defects in the property. For example, I wasn't told that the current old central heating boiler cannot be connected to an HR boiler at all and that the entire installation must be replaced, which entails a cost of approximately €20,000. When I asked to have a structural survey carried out, this real estate agent refused to allow it with the story that it was not necessary. He tried to keep this serious limitation hidden for the sale. Also, the necessary VVE (Homeowners Association) and sales documents were deliberately not provided, despite repeated requests from my side, so that this limitation is not made known through the minutes of the residents. In addition, he himself spontaneously determined an amount of €15,000 for the parking garage and refused to show proof showing that the parking garage is being sold for this amount. It is obvious that the amount of the parking garage is much lower than his amount; when I requested the documents from the VVE and from the parking garage, he got into trouble and decided to reject my offer so that his fraud remains hidden from me. The studio apartment is sold with a project notary, and the amount of the notary by the seller must be paid, Mr. Rick wanted me to pay these costs myself €2500 euro. The property needs to be heavily renovated immediately (with more than €35,000 in costs for kitchen, floor, bathroom, plasterwork and many more repairs, excluding the cost of the central heating boiler). Mr. Perk seemed to think he could manipulate and swindle me as a foreign buyer into agreeing to an excessively high price of €132,500 plus €15,000 for a parking space. After I accidentally discovered the limitations and lowered my offer to €115,000 euro (excluding parking costs €15,000 euro), my offer was rejected without good reason after a week with the argument that the owner no longer wanted to sell the property because I had withdrawn my previous offer of €132,500. This feels to me like a choice between fraud or not selling the property. This real estate agent is unreliable. I advise everyone to be very careful when dealing with him and always have an independent structural survey carried out before proceeding.

You fail to mention that you left the property damaged, always washed your dog in the communal shower, did not return all keys, we had to have everything cleaned, and we had to have all of your belongings removed (inside and outside). The security deposit (€350,-) was far from sufficient to cover the costs incurred by us. It is also unfortunate that you are trying to portray me/us in a negative light in this way! 15 Aug 2024Very satisfied with the entire process. Bas kept all his appointments. He helped us tremendously, gave consistently good advice, and was also very correct and helpful towards the buyers. For our house we received a good price, the photos, the prospect and the signs for the house were very beautiful, and the purchase agreement was well put together. On the search sites we were very easy to find both in the Netherlands and Germany. It looked attractive and immediately attracted buyers. And because they were real photos and videos, potential buyers were also very enthusiastic during the viewings of our house. Bas is very friendly, helpful but above all very skilled. As transparent as he is and not afraid to call a spade a spade towards all parties, he prevented problems during the sale in advance; not in an annoying way, and yet with all due respect. But no one can claim that things were not said as they were, or that anything was concealed. Therefore we are happy to give Bas and his wife Ilona 5 stars, because they deserve it: truly recommended!

23 Mar 2024Deeply disappointed, in 4 months it hasn't been possible to receive a callback even once. Called, emailed, nothing helps, keep away from here. As long as you pay your premium and everything seems fine, but appearances deceive; as soon as something happens, they are unavailable. Cancelled the entire package and this too goes wrong; communication is clearly not possible here, you have to arrange everything yourself, and that could be much better elsewhere.

23 Mar 2023I am normally not someone who leaves bad reviews but now I feel compelled to do so in order to save other people a lot of time and misery. We had an introductory meeting with the financial advisor from FinSafe. This was a pleasant conversation, and despite the fact that we had actually already chosen another financial advisor, we decided, based on this introduction and after reading several good reviews, to switch to FinSafe. Well, we wish we hadn't! I have never experienced such terrible communication as in this company. You have to chase everything yourself, they keep you informed about nothing regarding new developments, and finally, they make a lot of mistakes. And then I’m talking about gross errors, repeatedly a different calculation regarding financing space, each time a different outcome. Incorrectly entered data, even entering a completely different address! We received a mortgage proposal for a house which we had not purchased. Ultimately, we ourselves contacted the mortgage provider to track down this error!! There was an exchange of data, simply a data leak! In addition, the two advisors involved contradicted each other several times, so you didn’t know where you stood. We had 8 weeks to get the financing finalized, which they had to postpone twice due to sheer negligence and incorrectly provided information, causing everything to be delayed. In one word: UNPROFESSIONAL. This period has only cost a lot of stress and time. That's not even mentioning the personal clashes with Mr. V. That was the icing on the cake, he attacked us in a very inappropriate way. He brought up private matters as an excuse for why he had once again failed to perform his work properly. If you didn’t inquire further about this, you were blamed for it too. They never took responsibility for their shortcomings and certainly no apologies for the mistakes made and improper treatment. Ultimately, the entire process lasted well over 12 weeks, and we only received final approval one week before we had to leave our home. End well, but definitely not all good. I can only advise people one thing and that is to stay far, very far away from FinSafe. This is a very concise description of our experience with them; we hope to spare others this lesson.
