14 Aug 2025As a potential buyer, it is very difficult to get a viewing. I was not called back about this initially, as promised. Had to call again myself and then they said they were fully booked. Ultimately, through contact with the homeowners (who were very surprised by the way Snoek makelaars operates), we were still able to get an appointment that had to be rescheduled on the day of the viewing due to “an important appointment”. I was already done with this realtor and now even more so. We are letting this property pass us by with great reluctance. I would not entrust the sale of my home to this firm if I lived near Oosterwolde.

What none of the real estate agents achieved in a then very difficult market, was for this agent an exercise with success. Honest, realistic, connecting where the possibilities lay, and: everyone happy. I am still indebted to him for this review, I'm zero when it comes to digital affairs and social media, which led to postponement after postponement. But it kept haunting me; the debt I owed Snoek, namely a well-deserved (!) good review. Here it is then: Snoek delivers what others cannot, he keeps his appointment, and knows how to balance in everyone's favor. An honest business! Therefore; I would do it again without hesitation. Good luck further Snoek and greetings from us: Robin, the Buijze family, formerly Oldeberkoop, now Rotterdam...

The exact possibilities for viewing were not yet known and we would be called back on Tuesday after the long Pentecost weekend. Meanwhile, it is now a week later on Friday and we have not been called back. We had to call ourselves. A decision has been made for 2 viewing days. The first one is full and the second we cannot attend due to work. And that's what you have to deal with. A slightly customer-oriented real estate agent would, in consultation with the seller, create an extra moment for us because they have been lax themselves. The housing market is so good that they really don't care at all. Look, there will be a bad period in the housing market again sometime and then these kinds of things will not be forgotten. Absolutely not recommended. You don't want a real estate agent like that.

02 Sep 2023A smooth con artist! A project started in Steenwijk concerns an apartment complex. He doesn't respond multiple times. I did have the option and had to make cost estimates. He throws in three more price increases. Subsequently, he sells it to another party. This is not a normal way of doing business. I would think ten times before entering into an agreement with this man.

Dear Mark, I will pass your compliments on to the developer. Of course, it's very easy and cheap to dismiss us like this. It’s important to give a correct representation of things, we both know how it is. Due to your privacy, we cannot write too detailed a response here. Unfortunately, neither the developer nor we can do anything about the fact that construction prices have exploded in the past year and that, as a result, the developer (which isn't us) had to increase prices several times. Ultimately, it was your own choice to drop out as a buyer, allowing the seller/developer to sell to another party (more than a month later). That’s simply how sales work, and it is certainly not fraud. We are writing this response only because you won't receive compensation for your incurred costs (not to us) is ridiculous. You yourself chose to incur these external costs in advance! You owe us absolutely no costs. Perhaps it would be good to look at your own shortcomings first before writing a review.

02 Sep 2022We had a very bad experience with Makelaar Mink. Communication is extremely slow, but the blame will never be Alex's fault and only the counterparty's. Very disappointing. We also experienced that we were massively taken advantage of, and we are talking about thousands of euros! Again, the blame lies with the counterparty, but ultimately it turns out to come from the realtor. Advice: Read your purchase contract 10 times more often and even involve a lawyer if necessary, there are many (expensive) mistakes in it! No more Makelaar Mink for us...
